- Kbal Spean - We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kbal Spean, an archaeological site from the Angkorian era located on the southwest slopes of the Kulen Hills, northeast of Angkor. This site is along a 150m stretch of the Stung Kbal Spean River, 25 kilometers from the main Angkor monuments. It features a series of stone carvings in sandstone formations along the riverbed and banks. Known as the “Valley of a 1000 Lingas” or “The River of a Thousand Lingas,” the carvings primarily depict numerous lingams (phallic symbols of the Hindu god Shiva) arranged in neat patterns on the sandstone bedrock, along with lingam-yoni designs. Additionally, there are various Hindu mythological motifs, including depictions of gods such as Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Lakshmi, Rama, and Hanuman, as well as animals like cows and frogs.
- Banteay Srei - Next, we visit Banteay Srei, a pink sandstone temple constructed by King Rajendravarman V in the late 10th century. The walls of Banteay Srei are densely adorned with some of the most beautiful, deep, and intricate carvings found in any Angkorian temple.
- Banteay Samre - Finally, we visit Banteay Samre, a temple located east of the East Baray. Built under Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, this Hindu temple is designed in the Angkor Wat style. After the visit, we will return you to your hotel and drop you off.

Lace up your walking shoes and explore the Cambodian jungle! Off the beaten path, you’ll find Kbal Spean with its “River of Thousand Lingas” and a stunning waterfall. To reach the summit of Kbal Spean and admire the intricately carved stone riverbed, you’ll need to tackle a moderately steep incline. However, don’t worry – the trail is well-trodden, and the largest obstacles and boulders are navigated by a series of well-maintained wooden staircases. A moderate level of fitness is recommended for this 3km jungle trek. On your return journey, you’ll visit the small temple of Banteay Srei, renowned for its exquisite, delicate carvings in warm pink sandstone. This late 10th-century structure is relatively compact and distinct from other Angkorian temples. To complete your day, consider visiting Banteay Samre – a larger temple often overlooked by tourists, which looks magnificent in the late afternoon light.
