- Banteay Srei - The journey will continue to Banteay Srei temple, famously known as the Citadel of the Women. This distinctive temple, constructed during the Khmer empire, features exquisite carvings believed to be crafted by a woman, as only a woman’s delicate touch could create such intricate designs. The pink sandstone adds to the uniqueness of Banteay Srei.
- Banteay Samre - On the return trip from Banteay Srei, there will be a stop at Banteay Samre temple and Pre Rup.
- Preah Khan - This 12th-century temple, translating to “Royal Sword” in English, was commissioned by King Jayavarman VII in honor of his late father. Situated 1km north of the ancient city of Angkor Thom, it remains largely untouched by restoration, with the jungle growing through its center.
- Ta Som - The next destination is Ta Som, another temple from the 12th century, built by the prolific King Jayavarman VII.
- Neak Pean - Following that is Neak Pean, a 12th-century temple also constructed by King Jayavarman VII. Meaning “Entwined Serpents” in English, this Buddhist temple is located on a man-made island in the center of Preah Khan baray.
- Eastern Mebon - The visit will then proceed to East Mebon temple, showcasing excellent examples of early Khmer architecture from the 10th century.
