Ethical sanctuary - Amazing few hours. Lovely Sanctuary, you can tell the elephants are loved and well cared for. This are rescued elephants who sadly cannot be released into the wild.

Fab fab fab - All I can say is that this was a fabulous experience from start to end. And would recommend this to anyone interested in animal welfare, with close up, hands on time with such beautiful creatures. Gigi, Boom-boom were such characters!

Wonderful fun educational experience - Great learning about the elephants in Cambodia their lives work and the sanctuary. Very personal encounter with them feeding and bathing.
Make sure to bring bathing suit, clean towel and dry clothes for the drive home. You will likely be wet!!!

Incredible experience with rescued elephants. - This was such a lovely way to get up close with the elephants. The staff were amazing, the elephants seem very relaxed in their retirement and are very well cared for. They are respected, not forced to do anything they don’t want to. Highly recommend. So much fun…. Optional to go in the river but if you do be prepared to get muddy :)

Great Experience - From start to finish this was fantastic, the 3 elephants they have are beautiful and it was so much fun to make their rice balls and feed them, also to get in the water with them was amazing. The lady who explained everything about the elephants made you feel safe and not nervous about being near them was great. Overall a fantastic experience with those beautiful elephants

Don’t miss this!! - Outstanding experience. We loved preparing food and feeding the elephants, and sharing a bath with them was such a thrill! Prepare for a somewhat bumpy ride to the sanctuary (about an hour), and be sure to wear water shoes. (We bought cheap ones on line and just left them at the sanctuary rather than try and put muddy, wet stuff in our luggage.) The guide, Ann, was very informative and spoke excellent English. This experience was really the highlight of our Southeast Asian adventure.

Morning with an elephant - We were picked up at our hotel as expected. The van was pretty old and was not equipped with seat belts. The drive was almost an hour along some pretty bumpy roads. Once we arrived, the guide, Ann, clearly described how their sanctuary works. They currently have 3 rescue elephants, all female, ranging from 29-63 years old. However, only 1 came out to us. We made treats with bananas, rice and rice bran for her and each took turns feeding her. Then she went to the river where we got to scrub and wash her. It was so much fun playing with her. We got to walk over to see the other 2 but one was not well, so they did not come over to where we were. It was a very informative morning learning about elephants in Cambodia and their dwindling numbers.
