Angkor Wat - The day begins with a group pickup from the hotel at 8:00 AM to acquire the three-day Angkor Temple Pass. The journey continues to the renowned Hindu temple, Angkor Wat.
Angkor Wat stands as the largest religious monument globally, celebrated for its exceptional preservation. It is hailed as an architectural marvel of the Khmer civilization, noted for its perfect composition, balance, proportions, relief, and sculpture, making it one of the world’s finest monuments.
Angkor Wat integrates two primary designs of Khmer temple architecture: the temple-mountain and the later galleried temple. It symbolizes Mount Meru, the abode of the devas in Hindu mythology. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat faces west, a feature that has sparked scholarly debate regarding its significance.
The temple is admired for its architectural grandeur and harmony, extensive bas-reliefs, and the numerous devatas adorning its walls.
Angkor Thom South Gate - The next stop is Angkor Thom, accessed through the South Gate, one of the most iconic entrances to this ancient city. Visitors are greeted by the impressive sight of 54 statues of gods and 54 statues of demons, each holding the Naga, a mythical serpent, on either side of the bridge. This dramatic scene symbolizes the eternal struggle between good and evil.
At the South Gate, the magnificent tower adorned with four serene faces, representing the god Brahma, is also visible. These faces are a testament to the artistry of the Khmer Empire and symbolize protection and prosperity for Angkor Thom, established by the illustrious Khmer king Jayavarman VII. As the exploration of this remarkable site continues, the rich history and cultural significance of Angkor Thom and its temples are revealed, making this visit truly unforgettable.

He worked tirelessly to end the religious conflicts that plagued the region, fostering an environment where people of different faiths could coexist peacefully. Under his enlightened leadership, the kingdom flourished, and the citizens enjoyed a life filled with dignity, joy, and prosperity. Enjoy the unique feeling of solitude and connection with nature as this enchanting corner of Angkor is discovered, far removed from the hustle and bustle of more frequented attractions.

These pools are linked to a central water source, the main tank, through stone conduits. Each conduit is symbolically overseen by one of the Four Great Animals (maha ajaneya pasu), which are the Elephant, Bull, Horse, and Lion, corresponding to the cardinal directions of north, east, south, and west.
