West Baray - The West Baray is a vast man-made lake, surrounded by an earthen levee forming a dyke. According to legend, a ruler’s daughter was grabbed by a crocodile, creating a large opening in the south dyke of the West Baray, still visible today. The crocodile was captured and killed, and the princess was rescued.
Svay Romiet Pagoda - Svay Romiet Pagoda is located directly on the banks of the West Baray.

Poeng Ta Kho (Amazing Cliff) - Known as “Amazing Cliff,” located atop Kulen Mountain, it offers impressive views across the canyon below between the mountain ranges. It is easily accessible from the main road across the mountain, with a small parking bay and foot trail leading to the site.
Phnom Kulen Pagoda - At the summit, see a Buddhist pagoda and a large reclining Buddha statue, 8 meters long, carved into a sandstone block in the 16th century.
Preah Ang Thom Pagoda - Often referred to as the Reclining Buddha, Preah Ang Thom is an 8-meter (26 ft) tall statue of the reclining Buddha reaching nirvana. Carved into a huge natural sandstone boulder, a modern staircase and shelter have been added. It is a sacred site for Cambodians, often busy with visitors.
Kbal Spean - Along a stretch of the riverbed for around 500 meters, carvings of linga, several big and small yoni, and a large carving of Vishnu can be seen. Small carvings are also visible in the bedrock along the riverbed walls.
Phnom Kulen Waterfall - Many visit to swim in the river forming the Kulen Waterfall. There are two waterfalls: the first is around 25m wide and 5m tall, and the second is about 15m tall and 15m wide. The waterfall sizes vary with the season, with more water during the rainy season, but it’s worth visiting in the dry season too.
Preah Ang Choub Pagoda - Begin trekking from Preah Ang Choub Pagoda through the rainforest in the national park.

Known for its elaborate architectural structure, it is conveniently accessible, making it a prime Battambang attraction. Visitors can take Road 2 or Road 3, with Road 2 being busier. Roadside shops and eateries are available along both roads.
Killing Caves Of Phnom Sampeau - The killing caves of Phnom Sampeau are a Khmer Rouge execution site on Phnom Sampeau, a hill southwest of Battambang in western Cambodia. Victims were killed at the cave’s rim and thrown into the cave. Men and women were placed in separate caves, with clothes in another. Traditionally serving as Buddhist temples, the caves now feature a large glass memorial next to skulls and bones, and a golden reclining Buddha accessible via a staircase. A memorial of cyclone fencing and chicken wire contains human bones at the stairway base.

Royal Palace - The Royal Palace is one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks. Construction began in 1886 after King Norodom relocated the royal capital to Phnom Penh and was completed before World War I. Today, the palace is the primary residence of The King of Cambodia. While parts of the palace with its golden roofs are closed to the public, others like the elegant Throne Hall can be visited.
Silver Pagoda - The beautiful Silver Pagoda is located next to the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. With its beautiful garden, it is a perfect getaway from the busy streets of Cambodia’s capital. The inside of the pagoda is equally stunning, with countless handcrafted silver tiles covering the floor. The pagoda is also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha because the primary Buddha statue is made of emerald or baccarat crystal.
Wat Phnom - Wat Phnom is set on top of a tree-covered knoll 27m high, the only hill in town. According to legend, the first pagoda on this site was erected in 1373 to house four statues of Buddha deposited here by the Mekong’s waters and discovered by a woman named Penh. The main entrance to Wat Phnom is via the grand eastern staircase, guarded by lions and naga (snake) balustrades.
Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk - The Norodom Sihanouk Memorial is a monument commemorating former King Norodom Sihanouk located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The bronze statue is 4.5 meters tall and is housed under a 27-meter high stupa in the park east of the Independence Monument. The statue depicting the late king wearing a business suit cost about US$1.2 million and took about 8 months to complete.
Wat Ounalom - Wat Ounalom is one of Phnom Penh’s five original monasteries (1422). It housed the Institute Bouddhique and library. Located on the riverfront about 250 meters north of the Royal Palace, facing the Tonle Sap River near the Royal Palace, this pagoda serves as the headquarters for one of Cambodia‘s most revered Buddhist patriarchs.
Choeung Ek Genocidal Center - Choeung Ek is the site of a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge killed between 1975 and 1979, about 17 kilometers south of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is the best-known of the sites known as The Killing Fields, where the Khmer Rouge regime executed over one million people between 1975 and 1979. Mass graves containing 8,895 bodies were discovered at Choeung Ek after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime. Many of the dead were former political prisoners kept by the Khmer Rouge in their Tuol Sleng detention center and other Cambodian detention centers.
