- Ek Phnom - Located approximately 10 km north of the Cobra Bridge are the Ek Phnom ruins. Constructed during the Bayon period, these ruins are in poorer condition compared to Phnom Banan. However, it remains an intriguing site due to a newly built, functioning temple situated right in front of the ruins. This temple, along with the ancient ruins, serves as the focal point for holiday celebrations for the nearby village residents. They dress in their finest attire and celebrate between the old and new temples, exploring the ruins with their families.
The ruins are on a small hill, so visiting them requires minimal physical effort. Much of the temple is in disrepair and has been extensively looted. Nonetheless, some seated Buddha images remain intact higher up on the walls. Inside, there is a carving depicting a tug-of-war with participants pulling on a serpent. The figures on the left have been decapitated by looters, while those on the right still have their heads.
