Embark on this memorable journey by ascending the main entrance of Angkor Wat to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Angkor Wat and its surrounding temples.

Bayon Temple - Explore the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Angkor Thom includes the famous Bayon and Baphuon temples, originally consisting of 54 towers and 216 faces of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. During the visit, the tour guide will share historical insights about the Angkor Temples and the Khmer Empire, highlighting key architectural features of Angkor.

After lunch, the vehicle will pass by the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, known as the royal viewing platform and the stage of the king’s grand audience hall.

Phnom Kulen National Park - Explore the 1000 lingas carvings and waterfall. Phnom Kulen holds great symbolic importance for Cambodia as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. It was here that King Jayavarman II declared independence from Java in 804 CE. Jayavarman II established the Devaraja cult of the king, a linga cult, marking 804 CE as the year of independence from Java, to which the Khmer had been a vassal state. (There is debate over whether this “Java” refers to the Khmer term “chvea” used for Champa, or “Lava” (a Lao kingdom), as well as the legend of his earlier captivity in Java.
