Kampong Phluk Floating Village - Begin the morning at 8:00 am, departing from the hotel to explore the countryside leading to the world’s second-largest freshwater body, Tonle Sap Lake. This lake expands to 12,000 km² and contracts to 2,500 km² during the dry season, flowing into the Tonle Sap River. Embark on a boat trip to ‘Kampong Phluk,’ a group of three small fishing villages set in a picturesque flooded forest. Enjoy a Khmer lunch (at your own expense) at a local restaurant and relax after visiting Tonle Sap Lake.

Angkor Thom, Bayon, Neak Pean, Banteay Srei, and Pre Rup Temple

Angkor Thom - This morning, head towards Angkor Thom, once the splendid capital of the Khmer Empire. Reflect on its grandeur before entering the city. Upon reaching the Bayon temple, admire its intricately designed central towers adorned with over 200 large faces. Proceed to Neak Pean, an artificial island featuring a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray.

Banteay Srei - Continue the journey to visit the well-preserved Banteay Srei. The intricate reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are considered the finest and most skillfully crafted in Cambodia.

On the way back, make a brief stop at the well-preserved Banteay Samre, a laterite structure that once had internal moats.

Pre Rup - Conclude the exploration of Angkor temples by climbing up for sunset at Pre Rup temple.

Neak Pean - Neak Pean is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray.

Angkor Wat - Start with a pre-dawn departure from the hotel for sunrise outside Angkor Wat. Absorb the dawn ambiance at Angkor from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. Then, delve into the temple’s interior, spending two hours exploring the corridors, central chambers, and upper terraces of this magnificent temple.

Preah Khan - Continue the morning by visiting Preah Khan temple, a captivating blend of tree roots and crumbling stone structures.

Ta Prohm - Venture to the jungle-covered Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric temples in Angkor.

Ta Nei Temple - After the morning, return to the hotel for lunch and a swim, then drive to Ta Nei, a late 12th-century stone temple in Angkor dedicated to the Buddha.

Ta Prohm Temple - Conclude the tour by visiting the jungle-covered Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric temples in Angkor. This long but rewarding day will leave lasting memories of some of the most remarkable monuments ever built by humanity.
