Angkor Wat - Begin with an early morning departure (between 4:10 and 4:30 am, depending on the season) from your hotel to witness the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Enter the magnificent temple in the dark from the less-frequented eastern side, and quietly walk through ancient cloistered corridors past the world’s longest stretch of bas-relief carvings.
Experience the serene atmosphere of dawn at Angkor Wat from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. Then, delve into the interior of the grand temple, spending a comprehensive two hours exploring the corridors, central chambers, and upper terraces of this remarkable site. Your knowledgeable local guide will unravel the multitude of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, offering insights into life during the peak of the Khmer empire. Conclude the tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (takeaway from your hotel) and a brief rest.
Angkor Thom South Gate - This impressive site was once the shining capital city of the Khmer Empire. Take a moment to appreciate its grandeur before entering the city.
Angkor Thom - Angkor Thom, the majestic site that once served as the Khmer Empire’s dazzling capital city, invites you to pause and admire its magnificence before exploring the city. Upon reaching the Bayon temple, marvel at its intricately crafted central towers adorned with over 200 enormous faces.
Terrace of the Elephants - Pass by the renowned Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of Elephants.
Ta Prohm Temple - Among the most atmospheric of all Angkor temples, Ta Prohm was once home to 2,740 monks. Today, it remains much as it was in the early 1850s when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered’ this decaying site. After navigating the maze-like interior of Ta Prohm, return to your hotel after a long yet rewarding day, leaving you with unforgettable memories of one of the world’s wonders.

Kampong Phluk Floating Village - The Tonle Sap is one of the world’s most productive freshwater bodies. During the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake expands to 12,000 km², while in the dry season, it contracts to as little as 2,500 km², draining into the Tonle Sap River. Annually, millions of fish spawn in the seasonally flooded forest surrounding the lake, attracting numerous water birds and people who have settled in villages along the shores, living in harmony with the water’s rhythm. This ecosystem was designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1997.
Embark on a boat trip to ‘Kampong Phluk,’ a collection of three small fishing villages set in an enchanting flooded forest.
