- Angkor Wat - Led by a knowledgeable local historian of Angkor, visitors will begin at the main entrance to purchase their entrance pass (not included) before heading towards Angkor Wat, the site’s most cherished temple.
Rising above the lush tropical forests, Angkor Wat stands as one of the world’s last great unexplored tourist destinations. Constructed during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat follows the temple mountain design, symbolizing Mount Meru, the abode of the gods. The centerpiece of Siem Reap’s attractions is renowned for its more than 2,000 Apsara dancers adorning the temple both inside and out. The significance of this awe-inspiring monument to the Khmer people is evident; Angkor Wat is featured on Cambodia’s national flag, symbolizing the soul of the Khmer people.
- Ta Prohm - Next, the journey continues to Ta Prohm. One of the few temples left largely in its natural state since its rediscovery by a French explorer, Ta Prohm is considered a must-see in Angkor. Much of the jungle remains uncleared, presenting a view similar to what European explorers would have encountered. Enveloped by jungle, its maze of stone corridors is intertwined with the roots of massive banyan trees, which wrap around the stones like tentacles. It is one of the largest temples at Angkor and is beloved for its enchanting allure.
Following this visit, the tour returns to Siem Reap and the pre-arranged accommodation, concluding this 4-hour exploration of two of Angkor’s most iconic sites.

Since its emergence as a global center in the 9th century, Angkor Wat has been the jewel of the palatial grounds, now holding immense historical and cultural significance for the country. Complementing this grand stone structure with its five towers are the temple ruins of Ta Prohm, where conservationists have allowed nature to intertwine freely with its walls and foundation.
