Temple Sightseeing

Angkor Thom South Gate - At 8:30 am, our driver will meet you in the lobby of your accommodation. We will begin our tour at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, where you can see the towering gate with its four giant faces. We will then proceed to Bayon Temple, followed by a visit to the nearby Baphoun Temple, a Hindu temple built in the 11th century before Angkor Wat. Next, we will explore the Royal Palace and its temples, including Pimeanakas. Outside the Royal Palace, we will visit the Elephant and Leper King Terrace and Palilay.

In the afternoon, we will visit the world-renowned Angkor Wat temple. It is truly a sight to behold!

In the evening: Enjoy a romantic dinner at the hotel with candlelight, featuring Asian cuisine and a bottle of red wine.

Kulen Mountain

Phnom Kulen National Park - Embark on a full-day guided tour of Phnom Kulen National Park, departing from Siem Reap. Explore Kulen Waterfall, the River of a Thousand Lingas, and ascend to the top of the mountain to see the famous Reclining Buddha. The tour, led by an Apsara Authority certified guide, lasts between 5 to 6 hours. This small-group tour is limited to a maximum of ten participants and includes hotel pickup and drop-off.

On the return journey, we will visit Banteay Srei Temple. Banteay Srei, also known as Banteay Srey, is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located near the hill of Phnom Dei, it is 25 km northeast of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yasodharapura and Angkor Thom.

Tonle Sap Lake

Kompong Phluk - You will travel by boat down the Kampong Phluk river into the main village, home to approximately 3000 predominantly Khmer fishing people. Depending on the season, you can either walk along the main street of the village or explore it during the low water level season. This visit offers a wonderful opportunity to observe the daily lives of rural fishing communities. It is a serene and charming place to visit year-round. This tour provides insight into the lives of many Cambodians who work as fishermen or farmers.

On the way back, we will visit Bakong Temple, the first temple mountain made of sandstone, constructed by the rulers of the Khmer Empire near modern Siem Reap in Cambodia.

In the evening: Experience more than just a circus with Phare performers, who use theater, music, dance, and modern circus arts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories, both historical and contemporary.
