Excellent Day Touring Temples - This review is for Sam, who was my tour guide. Sam was the perfect guide for my first visit to Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. He was warm, professional, and deeply knowledgeable, sharing not just facts, but vivid stories that brought the history and culture of Cambodia to life.
He timed our visit perfectly to avoid crowds, spoke excellent English, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable throughout the day. His passion for his country and heritage truly shone through.
If you want more than just a tour—if you want an unforgettable experience—ask for Sam. He’s truly exceptional.

Incredible tour with Affinity Angkor - Highly recommend using Affinity Angkor for any tour through the Angkor temples. Our day with Tay was simply magical. You will not find anyone so knowledgeable or passionate about this historic place.

Great guided tour, we would happily return and recommend to other travelers - Where to even start. Great communication in advance of the trip with very helpful and clear advice from the team (Montea via email). We landed into our hotel lobby to be collected and Mr Kim was already there, coffee in hand and cheery with a smile. We knew we were in for a good day.
We grabbed our own coffees and met our driver, Mr Long, who looked after us all day alongside Mr Kim, with fresh bottles of water and cold flannels from the vehicle after our various stops.
Mr Kim was extremely knowledgeable about the Angkor Wat history - and that of Cambodia more generally - and has a great grip on the English language. He checked with us early on as to what we wanted to take away from the day, and tailored accordingly.
We visited the temples of Angkor Wat (East to West), Ta Promh, Ta Nei and Bayon, before heading up a hill (15-minute walk) for a sunset view and final temple [I didn’t catch the name of this one but believe it was Pnomh Bakheng].
Mr Kim stayed close, never losing us in the crowds and we had a very easy time following along. He respected our “couple” time and let us wander together - helping us to take some great photos of the day. We were able to ask questions and because it was just the two of us with Mr Kim, we were able to hear and appreciate the detailed answers. It was also great to share a number of laughs due to his good humour.
In a country where driving appears lawless, Mr Long looked after us on the road in a careful and courteous manner - we had no issues at all. We were dropped back to the hotel at the time indicated ready to begin our evening.
All in all, we had a fantastic private guided tour for the day, taking in some of the best temples in the area and learnt a lot. We’d happily and heartily recommend Mr Kim (and Affinity) to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

A perfect experience - Affinity Angkor, and guide Tey, provided an outstanding experience. It was lovely having a knowledgeable guide taking me to the best spots and pointing me in the right direction. As someone who hasn’t typically chosen a private tour, I appreciated the experience and got some wonderful pictures out of it to boot.

lovely, personal & interesting - did a day-tour with sam. great experience, SO-MUCH-KNOWLEDGE about all of the temples (and we visited only three because i had a somewhat low energy day). either way, when/if i’ll be back i’ll make sure to book with affinity & sam again. loved every minute of today’s adventure!

Super experience - This private tour was a great way to see Angkor Wat (and other temples) in one day. Tay was an amazing guide. He knew a lot and also how to avoid the crowds. Hoping to do another tour with these guys in future!

Unique experience - We got a tour for Angkor Wat with my friend and Mr. Kim was our tour guide. From the start to the end, it was a unique experience. Both Pilu (the owner) and Kim (our tour guide) were extremely helpful and polite. They made our travel even better.
Kim is very experienced and has great knowledge about the history. His storytelling capabilities were amazing, we felt like we are living in the history while touring around.

Great day out at Angkor Wat 😀 - My guide Kim was a super friendly and very knowledgeable guide who was able to answer literally all questions I had. He made the day at Angkor Wat and the other temples a very interesting and special experience for which I am extremely grateful. He also turned out as a very capable photographer who showed me sites I would never have found by myself. Big thanks also to our driver Long who made it a safe day trip.

Don’t Think Twice - The guided day tour was fantastic! Everything was extremely efficient and punctual. Our guide, Sam Chhoeun, was very knowledgeable and a perfect reflection of the kindness and humility that shines through Cambodians. He was as detailed as you wanted him to be, or stepped back to let us enjoy the peace and tranquility at several of the temples. He planned the tour such that we avoided crowds and got the most in a day without tiring ourselves out. Cold towels and cold water bottles are provided as part of the private tour. We found it to be worth the price and would do it all over again if we visit Angkor Wat again. Highly recommend requesting Sam as a guide, though I an sure looking at the other reviews, the others are pretty good as well. A gem of a company with great staff. I am a little late to review; we traveled in December 2023.
