Your guide will share the fascinating stories behind these intricate details and allow you plenty of time to explore both the inner and outer areas of the temple.
Angkor Thom - Next, explore Angkor Thom, constructed in the late 12th century, before proceeding to the Bayon temple, renowned for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara.
Angkor Silk Farm - In the afternoon, visit the Angkor Silk Farm, a picturesque location with numerous silk workshops employing local artisans, situated 16 km from Siem Reap. The site features an impressive exhibition center showcasing the entire silk production process and its final products.
Wat Thmey (Killing Fields) - Following this, visit Wat Thmey, one of the memorials for the killing fields, featuring a small stupa containing the skulls and bones of victims from the Khmer Rouge regime between 1975 and 1979.
