Excellent 2 Day Tour - This is a great tour to get an understanding of the temples, area and history. Your ticket is usually good for three days within a 10 day period so use these two days for a great tour and use your third day to tour independently for temples you would like to visit again and spend more time. Our tour guide Mr Nary was awesome and fun to be with. He had a great sense of humor and an extraordinary background in the history. He was awesome. Our driver, Kosal, was extremely courteous and was always at the right spot at the right time with doors open, A/C on, car cooled and water and facial wipes ready. He was a very safe driver and he was awesome as well. Great experience and recommended.

An amazing start to explore a fabulous country - Our guide Mr Seng gave us very interesting information on Cambodia, explained the historical and mythological background, answered all type of our questions with precision, gave us flexibility to explore things on our pace, and shared valuable insights on Cambodia's current situation with pride and great insights. Our driver Mr Ko Sorl was always punctual, drove with great care, and ensured that each time we came from a sightseeing point, our car was ready with fresh water and a smooth smile. He also drove us safely and comfortably to Phnom Penh on the third day. We are very happy that we had the company of these two gentlemen during our explorations of this amazing country.

Temples, Sunset/Sunrise, Floating Village, Monkeys, and much more! - My wife and I booked a 2 day tour of Siem Reap for our honeymoon from the UK during the dry season in December. There were many high-rated tour choices available but this tour was the only one where we could do a Sunset & Sunrise Tour, visit Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, and have a boat tour of the Tonle Sap Lake floating village over the course of 2 days, which is what made it stand out from the crowd. Our personal tour guide, Seng, was extremely knowledgable and had a deep understanding of the history of the temples, as well as the vast number of Hindi and Buddhist carvings and statues you can find around the temples, and he explained the fascinating stories behind each of them throughout our tour (as well as doing a great Apsara dance impression). We also visited many more temples on top of the main attractions and we saw gibbons and monkeys which were great fun. This was the first tour we have done over multiple days (11 hours on both days) and also the first private tour we have done (with no tour group). This won’t be for everyone but we were able to ask any questions at any time, spend longer in any location we wanted, and we basically ended up having a personal photographer with us the whole time (and trust me we needed it). I can’t express how much additional time and enjoyment can be obtained from viewing the Angkor temples if you actually understand the context of why they were built and in the way they were built. A self-guided tour would only present you with great photo opportunities without gaining any insight into the history of the Angkor temples. If you are yearning to understand the culture of this beautiful city and country then this is the tour for you. Hints: - We tried to save time buying digital Angkor passes but ended up having to go to the ticket office anyway. Plus you get a souvenir if you get a paper ticket. - Bring a lot of small US dollar bills ($5 is best) as prices here are in USD. You may get change in Cambodian Riel but that’s okay. - The floating villages at Tonle Sap are only “floating” during the rainy season so they were on wooden stilts when we went to view them (but it was still interesting to see how the floating villages were actually built). We were still able to take a boat ride to the mouth of the Tonle Sap lake. - The 3rd floor (top) of Angkor Wat was closed on Sunday (our day of visit) as it is the Buddhist Holy day.
