Special Angkor Wat Small Circuit with Sunset

Angkor Wat - After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 8:00am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to buy temples pass along the way to temples then we’ll visit the world famous Angkor Wat temple.

Ta Prohm - It really is amazing! Afterward continue to Ta Promh on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie “Tomb Raider”.

After busy couple hours in the morning between 12:00pm-1:00pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant nearby take around 45 minutes-1 hour ( Meals : food can be cost rank from 5USD per dish which depend on the food you order form menu ). After lunch then we go to the next temples.

Ta Nei Temple - Ta Nei is small & quite temples with less restoration yet. It is a very good for those who want to avoid crowds. The temple is surrounded by my big trees.

The Victory Gate - At first we will stop by visit the Victory gate on the east side of Angkor Thom. After quick stop visit & taking photos then we continue to Bayon temple.

Bayon Temple - Bayon temple is in the centre of Angkor Thom city with 49 towers in which every tower has 4 faces, so that means there are 196 faces of Budhhistsatva Avalokestesvara and we walk to the next temple.

Baphuon Temple - The nearby temple is called Baphoun which is a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in 11st Century. The big Reclining Buddha behind it was built in 16th Century & we continue to Royal Enclosure Wall.

Phimeanakas - Phimeanakas is the pyramid Hindu temple built in 10 Century and located in the center of the old Royal Palace of Angkor Thom so we can visit Phimeanakas altogether with ancient Royal Enclosure Wall.

Terrace of the Elephants - Terrace of the Elephants is the platform was ever used by many kings to view victorious returning army and it has many pictures of elephants carving on the wall of the platform.

Terrace of the Leper King - The Terrace of the Leper King is another platform located nearby on the north side of Terrace of Elephants.

Phnom Bakheng - Last one we go to climb up the hill Phnom Bakheng for waiting to see sunset view but in case if you don’t want to be waiting for sunset then you can skip sunset.

Note: Due to the limited number of tourists allowed at the peak on Phnom Bakheng , if it is busy we will take you to climb up Phnom Bakheng a bit earlier and you can take a bit longer waiting for sunset ( Note : Waiting & see sunset will take 1.45 hours - 2 hours )

On the first day, the tour will begin with a visit to Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. Following this, the group will explore Ta Prohm, also known as the Tomb Raider temple, famous for its massive tree roots enveloping the structure.

After lunch, the itinerary includes a visit to Ta Nei temple before proceeding to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, a highly photographed location in Angkor Park. The tour will continue to Bayon, a temple featuring 216 smiling faces, located at the heart of Angkor Thom. The group will also explore other renowned temples within Angkor Thom, including Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. The day will conclude with a climb up Phnom Bakheng mountain to witness a stunning sunset.

On the second day, the group will experience a breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat and then visit the Big Circuit, which includes Preah Khan, also known as the Sword temple, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, and Pre Rup temple.

In the afternoon, the tour will proceed to Banteay Srei, also known as the Ladies Temple, constructed from rare pink sandstone and often referred to as the “jewel of Angkor.”
