Fabulous tour and fabulous guide - A fabulous tour and the guide Roy was so informative and engaging. We particularly loved the pepper farm visit which was the local one, Botree operated by a local family, rather than LaPlantation which is a big affair and very busy. Shop local is a motto in the UK and we like to apply that when out of the UK. Booked this tour. You won't be disappointed

nice trip around the countryside of kampot - We coincidentally booked another tour with Roy, a very charismatic and competent local guide. We were driven around the country side by tuktuk, which was a very nice way to experience the landscape. The visit of the pepper farm "Botree", managed by a local farmer, was very interesting and came with a delicious pepper-tasting. Would recommend to book this tour! The number on tripadvisor to contact Roy is outdated, you can reach him by +855 15 375 391.

A few lovely days in Kampot - We had an awesome day out visiting the Salt fields, caves, mystery lake, Pepper farm then the crab markets at Kep. Followed up the next day with a trip up the mountain to see the sights and feed the monkeys. Roy is a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. We even had the privilege of meeting his lovley family at the end of the second day. I can't recommend this tour enough 😁

Adventure with a Local Touch - My friend and I joined the tour together. He came to our accommodation right on time, and we had a great time visiting places like a pepper farm while learning so much about Cambodia. As an optional trip, we also went to Kep, a lovely town famous for crabs. Everything was well-organized and really enjoyable. Thank you so much!

Relaxed, fun and informative. - We visited a salt field, cave temple, lake and pepper plantation with Roy in a tuk-tuk. That's a pretty standard offering here, but with Roy, it was a wonderful laid back and informative day. We didn't visit the larger pepper plantation but a small locally-owned one, with a great tour and tasting. Roy has excellent English and is well informed and fun to be with and cared about our experience. You won't go wrong booking any tour with him.

Worthwhile tour. Get a good guide. Like Roy. - Really enjoyable morning in the countryside with our guide, Roy. Picked us up on time, recommended a smaller pepper farm plantation to save wasting time queuing for a tour.

Very interesting tour to learn more about salt and pepper, in a very nice atmosphere. - We booked a guided tour(on Tripadvisor) to visit the Salt fields, a little village, a Bo Pepper plantation and a water reservoir ( we did not go to the cave) . A Guid called Roy picked us up at our hotel. He speaks very good English and could explain a little about our journey. The most interesting to us was the Salt Fields because the people who work there were so friendly and it es wonderful to see how they worked. If you visit them, just don’t take picture and go , but make an effort to respect their very hard earned money and perhaps you can leave a little donation there for them !! The pepper plantation was interesting but nothing really spectacular, basically it is a nice reason to purchase pepper and understand the difference between the three types. We enjoy the nice countryside during the trip and would advise people to take the tour and purchase some salt and pepper!!

Very disappointed! - My guide Aly could NOT answer most of my questions and his English wasn’t the best. He told us he was a tuk tuk driver, not really a guide. I paid over $35 Canadian for this tour and basically got a driver out of it. I was very disappointed. On a positive note, the tour at La Plantation, the pepper farm was excellent and so was the scenery of the gardens and salt flats, I just feel really ripped off because all the other reviews raved about their guide and my tour could have been so much more.
