Tuk tuk excursion - We had a nice experience with our driver Roy, the excursion was ok and at least was only half a day. It would be better if they arrange it with a car or a minivan. But overall was ok

A nice day out, something different. - Roy is an excellent guide and picked up all the places we needed to see in the park, also adding a few personal moments and experiences. We picked the trip just for something different to break up our holiday and it did the job. I’m sure the waterfall is far more rewarding straight after the rainy season but we took the time to grab some food and a beer.

Kampot Adventure - My friend had an absolutely fantastic tour with Roy! We spent the morning doing the tour of the salt fields and a Kampot pepper Farm. Roy shared stories about his one-day stint as a salt worker and went out of his way to take us to a pepper farm that is more sustainable and socially responsible than the more well-known, French colonial holdover, "La Plantation." He gave us context about how these local industries are woven into the fabric of local life, and shared many personal stories that gave us a wonderful window into the complexities of contemporary society. Not only this, he had a fantastic sense of humor and was very generous in answering our many questions about what we had observed so far on our travels. After lunch, Roy braved heavy fog and a monsoon season downpour to take us up the slopes of Bokor mountain. Before the rain hit, we stopped along the way to see the monkeys that were gathered along the side of the road. Once we reached the summit, he led us to a rest area where we shared a few cans of Cambodia beer while we waited for the rain to stop. While we had been on the fence about whether to add Bokor mountain to our itinerary, we were very happy that we did, as it allowed us the chance to see a beautiful buddhist monastery, a former retreat town for French bureaucrats, an abandoned royal retreat house, a statue of an important folk goddess, and some of the more contemporary Chinese development projects that have impacted the area. Visiting these sites under Roy's expert guidance gave us a useful frame of reference to understand colonial history and some of the dynamics affecting Cambodian society today. After this memorable day, Roy even brought us by his home to meet his beautiful family and enjoy a delicious meal cooked by his mother, this as it wasn't part of the regular tour, we felt extremely lucky and grateful that he took time out of his evening to give us an even more authentic experience of Cambodian hospitality! Highly recommend this tour and Roy, one if the highlights of our trip that we will be reminiscing about for years to come

best view with a cold weather and rain but i love it - Bokor Mountain offers truly wonderful views that take your breath away. Our guide was fantastic—sharing not only the rich history of the area but also insights into modern Cambodian life and culture. The combination of stunning scenery and a knowledgeable guide made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore both nature and the deeper stories of Cambodia.
