Nestled on the southern bank of the Teuk Chhou River, Kampot is a delightful destination in Cambodia. Once a thriving trading port, it was predominantly inhabited by Chinese merchants, whose descendants still reside there. The town features colonial shop houses with architecture typical of the early 1900s. Explore the vibrant market, where numerous bargains await. Phnom Kampong Trach Cave - Continue to Phnom Chhnork, a large cave housing a remarkably preserved 7th-century brick temple, a sacred site for local Khmers. Proceed to the quaint town of Kompong Trach, once forgotten due to civil war but now experiencing growth due to a new border crossing with Vietnam. Visit the intriguing cave temple of Wat Kirisan, nestled at the base of Phnom Sor. Journey through a small cave to a hidden chamber open to the sky, with sheer walls adorned with foliage. Discover several hidden shrines and the Cave of a Thousand Rice Fields, where locals say the limestone resembles terraces. Continue to the coastal village of Kep, a tranquil fishing village perfect for unwinding at the end of your holiday.

KEP TO RABBIT ISLAND

Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island) - Enjoy a guided excursion to Rabbit Island: After breakfast, transfer to the port to board a local fishing boat to Koh Tonsay, also known as Rabbit Island. The 40-minute boat ride will bring you to the island, where you can spend the day exploring or relaxing on the beach.

Lunch will be served at a beachside restaurant renowned for its swimmer crab and Kampot pepper dish. In the late afternoon, begin the return journey to Kep by boat and car, and enjoy the rest of the day exploring Kep independently at your leisure.

KEP TO PHNOM PENH / HOME OR EXTEND

Kep - Travel from Kep to Phnom Penh by road: Enjoy free time in the morning and afternoon until your guide and driver arrive to take you back to Phnom Penh International Airport. Please allow 2 hours for airport check-in procedures. Wishing you a safe and pleasant journey home.
