Journey from Phnom Penh to Taing Bompong Community
Kampong Speu - Departure is scheduled for 4:30 am from Phnom Penh, with pick-up available at the National Pediatric Hospital or as a private group (minimum of 2 people). The journey covers approximately 150km to a village, with breakfast provided en route at a local restaurant. After breakfast, continue from the restaurant to the village via a local road (35km), arriving at the Tang Bampong protection forest local community around 9:30 am. Upon arrival, prepare your belongings, collect your lunch pack from a local guide, and embark on a 1.5-hour tractor ride from the village to the mountain base. Begin hiking with a lunch break along the trails, reaching the destination around 3:00 pm. Upon arrival at the campsite, set up your tent and enjoy a refreshing waterfall bath (approximately a 1KM trek), then return to admire the sunset view near the campsite. Enjoy a dinner gathering, discuss the local community, and participate in a sharing session.
