Great way to see the outskirts of the area and still have plenty of time to shop and/eat. - Excellent tour! It was very easy to find the meet up spot which was an approx 5 min walk. The guide was great, very knowledgeable. He told us he was born in Germany but has lived here for decades. The tour is presented in English and he spoke it quite well. The beach and St. Olaf Church stops were my favorite. Do yourself a favor and touch that beach sand! The view at the church is absolutely breathtaking. FYI, entrance into the church is not included with the tour, but someone said the door was open and you could peek inside. All but the last stop at the church had restrooms. Before we crossed the bridge to the port area the guide asked if anyone wanted to stay in town…do it! There’s a pedestrian only street with lots of shops and restaurants. We had about 1.5 hours to wander after the tour before we had to be back onboard. It was a bout a 10 minute walk from the foot of the bridge back to the ship. Overall great tour, we stayed on schedule. Highly recommend!

Anytime again!! - A wonderful experience. Our German-speaking guide Alfons brought us closer to the area and Norway despite the bad weather. Great stories filled with humor and amazing knowledge accompanied the trip. The whole team was helpful. We quickly found the meeting point. Overall, a great experience and definitely recommendable! Many thanks also to our bus driver. Always ready to open the bus for us in stormy weather! Thank you very much!

Fab morning spent learning about the region - Alfonso was, from start to finish interesting; knowledgeable and a joy to listen to. Everything he said was with meaning and I enjoyed learning as much as we did whilst on the trip. Worth while and very informative.

FUN ADVENTURE! - Darlene was exactly that… DARLING!!! She was so lovely, thorough, kind, informative and engaging; and she’s an incredible accordion player and singer! Our bus driver, Per, got us to and from safely. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour, and learned and saw far more than we ever imagined.

Super Tour with Super Guide! - Alfons, best man! Great guide, great tour! How much does this man actually know? We travelled with 4 adults and 2 children, Viking Adventures also provided child seats, which was great! Highly recommended!

Cruise port pickup tour of haugesund and the surrounding area - Lovely tour of local area. Informative guide and driver who knew lots about the local history. Tranquil, picturesque and quiet. Great tour if you find yourself in this area on a Sunday as haugesund itself has very little open so it was lovely to see into the surrounding area

Four stops, three of... - Four stops, three of which are for only ten minutes. First was a miniature statue of liberty, 2nd was a lovely beach, third was a church which was closed so could walk around the perimeter and then leave. We only had 45 minutes in Skudenshavn which was not long enough to have lunch or walk around the town. We spent most of that time walking/climbing up to a viewpoint in a lovely park. Our tour guide gave us some interesting history/ background during the drive. It was mostly driving through suburbs.

Skudeneshavn Plus Other Stops Near Haugesund - The stops covered in the excursion were nice. Skudeneshavn is cute town but was mostly closed (Monday + end of summer break).

Tour was supposed to be in English and German. 90% was in German so missed out on a wonderful learning experience. - Disappointed with the person giving the tour. He only spoke German initially until someone asked him to also speak in English. He did initially but then reverted back to mostly German. On the excursions off the bus he only spoke in German. Almost got lost on one of our stops because no directions were given in English. I took the tour to learn more about the history of the area and learned very little. I would not recommend to English speakers.
