Cool caves! Excellent guide! - The two-cave tour with Dirk is fabulous! Dirk is an excellent guide. He's friendly, fun, patient, and knowledgeable about caves. He guides you for each part of the climb in and out of the caves so you don't have to worry about figuring anything out. The caves are lovely, especially the one with water. I highly recommend his tours!

Best Bonaire Experience - Great Tough Adventure. Did not know what to expect on this excursion (should have read more of the reviews prior to the trip).

Unexpectedly Challenging, Great Rewards - Did not know what to expect on this excursion (should have read more prior). Although I’m afraid of heights (I didn’t mention this prior to the experience) I was able to complete all of the activities. We go deep underground (with the aid of a ladder & rope) and the ground is a bit slippery (should have packed shoes that had better traction). The guide did an amazing job of explaining how to safely enter into the cave and his calm instructions really helped ease my anxiety. The sights in the caves were really worthwhile and the grand finale was amazing.

A highlight on an island vacation - We have an interest in geology and have imparted this with our grand kids. So this was a perfect way to see below the surface of Bonaire. Craig was awesome. He was engaging and so supportive of all our needs and questions. Craig has a wealth in information about the topography, geology and geological history of Bonaire. It was our own private lecture complete with hand-on experiences. Our gran son loved the swimming cave the best, but we were fascinated with the stalagmites and stalactites. Stunning scenery!

Craig is awesome - Craig picked us up at the cruise port. He immediately introduced himself and off we went. Took us for a short drive along the coast to the first cave. This was by far the longest and deepest cave we visited. It was extremely humid the further you went in. Craig explained what everything was as we got deeper. Very informative!! Second cave was a little smaller, but still had amazing views. The last had the pool where you swim, which was amazing, Craig did a great job explaining where to step, what each formation in the cave is and gave plenty of great stories along the way.

Cave climbing sweating swimming - I was a adventure trip. Climbing, swimming, and a little freedive. Graig explained a lot about how the caves were formed, and how we had to climb.

Dirk #1 Bonaire "Caveman" - Dirk is the #1 "cave-man" on Bonaire. He cracks jokes nonstop and was very fun and personable. Our family of four (two 50-somethings with out 20-something sons) had a blast on the tour. A couple of things to note--first of all, the caves on Bonaire are warmer than the surface temperature, not cold like the ones I have experienced in N. America and Europe, so be ready for that. The positive aspect of the warmth is that swimming in the cave is at a very pleasant temperature. The climb in and out is a little challenging, and there is one point where a bit of flexibility is needed, so not suitable for disabled or very overweight people. Lots to see, and the underwater cave is really different through the mask. Recommended.

A must do! - An amazing journey! Craig was an outstanding guide. He is extremely personable, friendly and kind. He took our safety seriously and was supportive, encouraging and helpful with our ability levels. He made the excursion extremely enjoyable. He is well educated in the cave, how they were created, the features within, along with the history of the formation. He is very conscientious of the developed and developing features and, highlights their beauty to their full potential. I highly recommend this tour. I’ve been to Bonaire twice before this trip and this was, by far, the best experience I’ve had. You’ll be missing out if you don’t go!

A must do! - Craig was an outstanding guide! He is extremely personable, friendly and kind. He took our safety seriously and was supportive, encouraging and helpful with our ability levels. He made the excursion extremely enjoyable. He is well educated in the cave system, how they were created, the features within along with the history of the formation. He is very conscientious about the delicacy of both the developed and developing features and shows their beauty to their full potential. I highly recommend this tour. I’ve been to Bonaire twice before this trip and this was by far the best experience I’ve had. You’ll be missing out if you don’t go.
