• Heritage of Mei Ho House - The tour begins with a journey back to the 1960s, visiting the “Mei Ho House” at Shek Kip Mei Public Housing Estate, the oldest public housing complex in Hong Kong. Originally consisting of 29 concrete blocks built in 1954 to rehouse victims of a shanty fire, Mei Ho House is the only remaining structure from the 1950s. It was preserved as a Grade II Historic building and transformed into a Youth Hostel in 2013 by the Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association. The Mei Ho House Museum showcases the history of public housing through donated exhibits and stories from former residents, highlighting the evolution of public housing and local folklore.

• Apliu Street Market - Apliu Street Market, also known as the “Man’s market,” features vendors selling a variety of electronic products at reasonable prices, including second-hand goods. The market offers industrial electronics, analog and digital radio communications equipment, disco effects equipment, crockery, 1940s-era radios, LPs, torches, and audiophile hi-fi amplifiers in various conditions. • Sam Tai Tsz And Pak Tai Temple - The Sam Tai Tsz Temple, a Grade II historic building, was constructed in 1898 for the god Sam Tai Tsz (also known as Na Cha), who was believed to have ended a plague outbreak in 1894. The god was brought from a temple in Wai Chau by the Hakkas. It is the only temple in Hong Kong dedicated to Sam Tai Tsz.
• Nam Cheong Pawn Shop - Nam Cheong Pawnshop (Chinese: 南昌押), established in 1933, is located at the intersection of Nam Cheong Street and Yu Chau Street. Although pawnshops are rare in Hong Kong, they remain important, as many traditional residents and domestic helpers prefer them to banks. The double doors and screens ensure privacy, and they offer long hours without requiring proof of income. The Nam Cheong Pawnshop building is preserved as a Grade II Historic building. A pawnshop can be identified by a sign depicting a bat holding a coin, symbolizing fortune and benefits.
• Cheung Sha Wan Road Fashion Road - Cheung Sha Wan Road Fashion Street is ideal for finding brand-name clothing at discounted rates. Known for wholesale clothes, the street offers items at a fraction of retail costs, catering to small boutique buyers from around the world. Purchasing 10 or 20 items here can result in significant savings.
• Fuk Wing Street (Toy Street) - Fook Wing Street Market is home to numerous toy stores offering brand-name goods at half the price of department stores, as well as no-name toys at even lower prices. If you’re looking to buy toys for children, Fook Wing Street is worth a visit.
• Sham Shui Po - At the tour’s conclusion, the guide will lead participants to the nearest entrance of Sham Shui Po MTR Station. Guests are welcome to stay and explore the markets further on their own.
