• Sham Shui Po District - This tour delves into ‘The Dark Side’ of Hong Kong, exploring Kowloon and its more challenging aspects, such as poverty, triads, prostitution, and grey markets.

The tour begins in Sham Shui Po, the least affluent district in Hong Kong. This is not the place for a fancy gourmet meal, but rather for trying Michelin-recommended noodles and snacks that are budget-friendly.

A local guide will lead a street food tour, showcasing the best local cuisine and introducing the local culture and living conditions.

Each tour includes 4 to 6 food stops, with itineraries and stops varying based on factors like interests, walking pace, and weather. We aim to include two Michelin-rated Bib Gourmand eateries on each tour. (This is not a Michelin star food tour as Viator inaccurately describes it, and they have not corrected this despite our requests).

This offers insight into the ‘dark side’ of Hong Kong. Rest assured, the exploration is safe, as Hong Kong is one of the world’s safest cities, and Mongkok is a top tourist destination, providing a deeper understanding of what lies beneath the surface.
