Dark side of HK - Our tour guide (Ice) was knowledgeable and very delightful. She made the tour interesting and worthwhile and showed us the 'other' side of HK. Made us realise how lucky we are. Highly recommended.

The most interesting part of our Hong Kong visit - Stephen, our guide was simply brilliant. Articulate, polite, considerate of everyone on the tour but more importantly of the privacy of those whose lives we were permitted to glimpse. This is a real, educational and thought provoking experience that is so much deeper than the usual tourist traps. Highly recommended.

Educational and valuable - but not for everyone - Hody was able to respond to all of the group's questions with a lot of knowledge and insight, which was very valuable. She showed us a lot of practical examples and photos, and especially walking inside one of those miniature apartments and experiencing this claustrophobic feeling helped developing a deeper understanding about what the less privileged part of HK society sometimes has to go through. Overall, a very educational and insightful experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants to see beyond the shiny skyline.

Informative experience of the other side of Hong Kong - Summer is a great guide. We got to see the caged rooms while she provided detailed history and information about them. We were also treated to some Chinese tea, and she explained the wider social and economic conditions in Hong Kong, as well as the struggles and way of life of the people living there. She answered all of our questions too. I would highly recommend this experience.

Informative and real tour - Stephen was our tour guide for this educational tour and I really liked how unexpected and informative it was. The meet up location inside the station was very easy to find, with clear pictures of the exit provided beforehand. Stephen was timely and made sure that there was plenty of time for questions. Instead of a typical sightseeing tour, this unique experience highlights the affordability crisis around housing for the lowest income HK population. After viewing the subdivided housing rented by the tour company, various buildings, walking through the parks, markets, and seeing beautiful Kowloon side, your perspective and worldview will be enhanced through this experience.

Great tour to learn about the difficulties to find affordable homes. Highly recommended. Not to make fotos but to learn - In this tour you see how many people struggle to find living space but also how the poorest are being helped by their community and neighbourhood. No tour to make instagram Fotos. We learned so much thanks to Hazel, our great Guide. Very personal.

Interesting tour - Interesting tour. You're going to places you'd never go otherwise. A lot of information from Simeone gave a good insight into the daily life of the Hong Konger. Recommended!

Excellent tour of the real Hong Kong - This was a very informative and eye-opening tour, led by Summer who was an excellent guide. You get to learn the reality of renting for many Hong-Kongers and visit some of the poorer neighbourhoods in the city.
