Blue cave paradise - An exclusive winter visit to the Blue Cave and Mamula Island in Montenegro was nothing short of extraordinary.
Even in December, without swimming, the Blue Cave revealed its signature deep-blue glow calm, pure, and mesmerizing.
Mamula Island stood timeless and majestic, its historic fortress rising from the sea, surrounded by winter silence and dramatic beauty.

Three unique stops, experienced boat captain. - Unlike many tours ive been on in other locations, you are given plenty of time at each stop on this loop and each location is very unique. I had no idea how small the opening to the blue cave was but Stephan guided us in there with no problem at all. Im guessing the water is calmer at other times of year for the more "open sea" portion of the trip, but I always felt we were in safe hands. Each of the three stops were worth seeing and the value for money was very good. Thanks all!

Great Blue Cave tour—beautiful sights and Boris was a super fun, chatty skipper who made the whole trip awesome. - I recently took a boat trip from Kotor to the Blue Cave, and it was easily one of the highlights of my visit! The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our skipper, Boris.
Boris is an incredibly fun guy with a great sense of humor, and he kept the whole group entertained the entire time. He’s also a fantastic conversation holder—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to share interesting facts about the area or just chat about life. It felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend who genuinely loves what he does.
The ride was smooth, the stops were perfectly timed, and the Blue Cave was absolutely stunning. If you’re planning a boat tour in Kotor, I highly recommend this one—and if you’re lucky enough to get Boris as your skipper, you’re guaranteed an amazing time!

Strange beginning but experience made up for it. - The tour itself was great. We were on a small older (?) speedboat with 12 people. Later afternoon in November so it was a bit chilly but we dressed for it. Seeing the submarine tunnels, the church, the fort was great. But the highlight was the caves. We went inside and it was a thrill. The water was beautifully clear and we saw the sunset. Two dolphins did a quick appearance. The downside was finding the tour itself. There were no definitive signs or identifying clothing on the operators making it feel like we were just at the mercy of some guy in a boat. I was told someone would have my name on a sign but that was not the case. Many different boats were around with many different men. It felt haphazard and in a foreign country, nerve wracking. But as I said, the tour made up for my nervousness! Some people may not enjoy the fast boat and somewhat hair raising ride. I did!

Beautiful memory - Very nice boat trip. It shakes a little at the front. Lol. Visit the beautiful blue cave. Our pilot went in one way and out the other it was magical! Beautiful landscapes.
Stop on the island of Lady rock a little long when you do not visit the church (you have to pay admission). My daughters loved that outing. Allows you to admire all the beauty of Kotor Bay.

Book a better tour operator - Upon arrival, the whole operation was disorganized, and we were all left standing in the sun for some time, wondering what was going on.
Our boat operator hardly spoke, offering very little explanation of the sights, history, etc. and his accent was so thick we could not understand most of what he said anyway.
The driver was reckless, driving fast and making sudden unnecessary turns that frightened and unseated passengers (we are boaters so were okay ourselves, but were surprised at the driver's actions).
Going into Blue Caves, he drove much too fast with no regard to the many swimmers in the water, almost hitting some of them.
There are many other tour operators at this location that might be better.
