Our highly popular 3-hour tour offers a unique perspective of the Bay of Kotor! The Blue Cave is a natural wonder formed at the base of a 100-meter cliff, shaped over thousands of years by the sea waves against the porous rocks of Luštica. Sunlight enters through the cave’s entrance, creating stunning blue hues on the water’s surface, which is how the cave earned its name. You’ll experience these vibrant colors on your skin when you take a dip. On the return journey, there will be a brief stop at Mamula Island, where a prison was constructed in 1853. Mamula Island was infamous as a prison during both World Wars, known as “Kampo Mamula.” Passing by the old Yugoslavian army base “Pristan,” we will pause at one of the three submarine pens used during World War II for hiding and repairing submarines. Another fascinating site is the old Island Lady of the Rock, an artificial island created in the 15th century as a tribute to the sailors from Perast.
