- Mamula Fortress - On the return journey, there will be a brief stop by Mamula Island, where a prison was established in 1853. Mamula Island was infamous as a prison during both World Wars, known as “Kampo Mamula.” Passing by the old Yugoslavian army base “Pristan,” there will be a stop at one of the three submarine pens used during the Second World War for hiding and repairing submarines.
- Our Lady of the Rocks - Another captivating site is the historic Island of Our Lady of the Rocks, an artificial island created in the 15th century as a tribute to the sailors from Perast. Beneath Our Lady of the Rocks lie 196 shipwrecks, sunk by the people of Perast while defending Kotor from the Venetian and Ottoman Empires. During the panoramic boat tour, you will see landmarks such as “Saint Mathews Church,” “Ladies Temple,” the abandoned village “Old Stoliv,” the narrow passage “Verige,” which is only 300 meters wide, as well as the Bay of Tivat and Herceg-Novi, and the new yacht marina “Porto Novi.”
