Outstanding Private Tours of Mostar & Montenegro - While visiting Dubrovnik, I wanted to take private day tours of both Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Kotor (Montenegro) to explore other countries. My hotel recommended Adriatic Explore Day Tours and I am so grateful for that. My positive experience started with booking. Iva and Luka were so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. They helped me customize an itinerary for each tour, answered all of my questions, and made great suggestions for how to maximize the experience. They even connected me with local guides in each country so I could learn more about where I was visiting. I was incredibly lucky that Carlos was my driver for both days. I can't thank him enough. He was warm, thoughtful, passionate, and entertaining. He allowed me to explore at my own pace - taking more time in areas that I wanted. I love his philosophy. He said that when he travels he doesn't like to be rushed and wants to take full advantage of the experience. He said that this is my vacation so he wanted to make sure I had a good time. This positive attitude and flexibility ensured this was not only good, but incredible. Carlos was flexible with scheduling, helped us get through passport control/border security quickly, and made sure to provide history and highlights along the way. A few parting thoughts: - I would recommend private tours of both countries as they are long days and passport control can take a long time if you are on a big bus. - I've taken private tours in other cities before, but I can honestly say, Adriatic Explore is the BEST and Carlos is AMAZING. Please request him if you can. I travel a lot and felt like a VIP working with this company. I explored a number of options for travel and can honestly say these were two of the best days I had in Croatia and some of the best in my lifetime of travel. Bay of Kotor Tour - Seamless and Stunning - Our day trip to the Bay of Kotor was unforgettable! Carmen, who organized our tour, ensured everything was seamless from start to finish. We had all the details and timings well in advance, making the entire experience stress-free. This tour was undoubtedly the highlight of our vacation. The crew on the boat was fantastic, and the locals on each island were incredibly welcoming. The views were absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to return to Croatia! Highly recommend!

Outstanding experience - What an experience! From our first chat with Carmen (who sold us our trip) until the actual journey everything was smooth, we were well informed and knew exactly the time(s) and what to expect. It was the highlight of our holiday, I can't recommend this day enough and Carmen was extremely helpful and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know. From the crew onboard to the local inhabitants on each Island (and the views!!!) the whole day was just amazing. I can't wait to go back to Croatia and book another boat trip with Carmen when we're there.

Excursion of great beauty and curiosity - A beautiful excursion with wonderful landscapes. The charming and correct guide Daf. We coincided with another group and their guide Carlos, very diligent and friendly. Both guides made this getaway an unforgettable experience. Worth.

A most lovely, personal tour! - A great day with Zlatko! He is very congenial, gentlemanly (always opened car door for me), knowledgeable about the history of the areas and has a quick wit with a ready laugh. His recommendations on where to eat and what to do were spot on. Adriatic Explore came through again! They will be my go to every time I come to Dubrovnik. Ivan was so helpful and accommodating in setting up our trip.

A wonderful tour with a fantastic driver. - Our full day tour to Kotor and Perast was wonderful. Our tour guide in Kotor was very nice and recommended a great restaurant. Our driver, Kruno, was fantastic. He was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us as much time as we wanted at all of the stops. He even took us to the top of Mount Srdji so we could take some beautiful pictures of Dubrovnik.

Wonderful tour with a fabulous driver! - The tour of Kotor was interesting and the guide friendly. However, our driver, Kruno, was outstanding. He was punctual, friendly, and informative. He even added a stop for us to take scenic pictures of Dubrovnik.

Guide was great! - Our tour guide was Doris who was great!! Easy to understand and fluent in English and Spanish. She did a great job for us! Perast was good but would have liked less time there and more in Kotor. Only negative was the drop off. We were picked up at Pile Gate and dropped off somewhere where we had to fend our own way back to the old town. Wouldn’t have been too bad except the person I was with had a healing torn meniscus and had to endure a steep hill and many steps into town - unfortunately a good trip turned into a excruciating experience. Wish Adriatic Explorer would have told us about the alternate drop off!!!
