Once at the top, located in the active volcanic crater four kilometers in diameter a unique lunar landscape.
In the afternoon you have enough time to stroll through the narrow streets of the port town Mandraki to enjoy one of the many traditional tavernas a typical lunch or to visit the famous monastery.
You will be enchanted by the charm of the island!

Beautiful excursion - Well organized excursion with exciting information about the island. There was plenty of time to explore for yourself and there were stops at beautiful viewpoints for photos.

This trip was worth it. Thanks to the tour guide Peter. - Very nice trip, which was especially so great because the guide Peter, made this trip an experience. Everything was very well organized. Nissyros is an island worth seeing. The caldera with the mountain village Nikia an absolute eye-catcher. But Mandraki does not promise too much either.

Perfect excursion - We had an amazing experience on this excursion from Kos to the stunning island of Nisyros. The day was perfectly organized, starting with a smooth boat ride and plenty of time to explore this unique volcanic island.

Should have been seen. - Boat trip from Kos Island to Nissyros Volcanic Island.
You are about 1 hour by boat and then get to the island.
Small lovely village with restaurants and shops.
The crater can be reached by bus. After that you can go exploring on foot. Great experience.

Worthwhile tour - Very interesting tour with lots of information about the history of the island. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge and that brought this across well.

Beautiful - The trip was very nice.The island is worth seeing.The lunch was delicious and the staff very friendly.The tour guide could have been a bit more personal.He did his thing well, but we had already had a different.Overall we had a very nice day with a lot of impressions and can only recommend the trip to everyone

Nice, slightly overpriced excursion - Nice trip. Price for children from two years with 80 euros seems inappropriate.
