• Korca Old Bazaar - Since its renovation in 2017, Korca Old Bazaar stands out as one of the most charming spots in Korça, featuring stone houses, cobblestone streets, and inviting terraces. Historically, craftsmen were organized by trade, with shops and caravanserais drawing merchants from across the Empire. Following the 18th-century destruction of Moscopole’s commercial hub, the Shariah attracted European merchants from Trieste, Vienna, and Venice. At its peak, the bazaar housed up to a thousand shops, covering an area three times larger than today, extending to the current Shën-Gjergji pedestrian boulevard, with bridges over a river now beneath Fan-Noli Boulevard. Originally constructed from wood, the district was rebuilt in concrete after several fires. Activity waned post-independence (1912) as Korça lost its traditional Ottoman Empire markets.
• National Museum of Medieval Art - The National Museum of Medieval Art in Korçë, Albania, is dedicated to medieval art and history. Situated on Fan Noli Boulevard in the city’s southeast, it was founded on April 24, 1980, and its building was renovated on October 4, 2016. The museum boasts over 7,000 art and cultural artifacts, including icons, stone, wooden, metal, and textile works, showcasing various stages of Albania’s iconography evolution. The main hall features numerous works by anonymous 13th-14th century artists and renowned figures such as Onufri, Onufër Qiprioti, Teacher Kostandini, Jeromak Shpataraku, David Selenica, and the Zografi Brothers.
• Ngjallja e Krishtit Cathedral - The Resurrection of Christ Orthodox Cathedral in Korçë is the primary Albanian Orthodox church in the city. Painted in pink, blue, and brown, the cathedral was constructed by Albanians in 1995. A previous cathedral, dedicated to St. George, was demolished by Communist authorities in 1968. Inside, the simple white interior is highlighted by a large carved wooden iconostasis.
• Korca Brewery - Birra Korça is Albania’s first brewery, established in the town of Korçë in 1928. Founded by Italian investor Umberto Umberti and local investor Selim Mboria, the company began with an initial capital of 950,000 francs. Its initial production capacity was 20,000 Hl per year, producing Blonde Ale Beer, Dark Ale, bottled water “Kristal,” and ice.
