• Koper - The meeting point is at the Cruising Terminal in Koper, from where the journey to Postojna begins. The trip in a comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned van/minibus/bus takes approximately 50 minutes. During the scenic drive through Slovenia’s picturesque landscape, an English-speaking guide will share insights about the country’s history, politics, and other fascinating details.

• Postojna Cave - Upon arrival at Postojna, the driver will accompany the group to the cave entrance and provide tickets (included in the price). Participants will join a group led by a local cave guide in their preferred language. The cave is so vast that entry is via a small electric train, which takes about 15 minutes.

Following the train ride, the guided tour through the cave offers intriguing facts and the history of this Slovenian treasure. This portion of the tour lasts approximately one hour on a mostly flat surface.

After returning from the cave, there will be ample time to purchase souvenirs, enjoy a coffee or snack, and use the facilities before rejoining the driver/escort. The next destination is the world’s best-preserved fairytale cave castle, boasting over 800 years of history, located about 15 minutes away.

• Predjama Castle - After the cave tour, there is time to shop for souvenirs, have a coffee or snack, and use the restroom before meeting the guide to head to the renowned fairytale cave castle, approximately a 15-minute drive away. Please note, the visit to Predjama Castle includes only a 15-minute photo stop (no interior visit).

• Koper - Following the castle visit, the return to Koper is a relaxing and comfortable 40-minute drive, concluding the tour at the ship. As passionate food and wine enthusiasts, a reservation can be arranged at a local family-run restaurant offering authentic and international cuisine and local wines at reasonable prices. This provides an opportunity to experience Slovenia through its flavors as well.

• Please be aware that the temperature in the cave is around 10 degrees Celsious or 50 degrees Fahrenheit ALL YEAR ROUND SO WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHES. (SPORT SHOES AND A JACKET)
