Setting Sail on a Dream

As a former professional surfer, I’ve spent countless hours riding the waves and exploring the ocean’s wonders. But when I heard about the Blue Cave and Hvar Tour, I knew I had to experience it for myself. The journey began with a thrilling 90-minute speedboat ride to the east side of Biševo island. After our mesmerizing visit to the Blue Cave, we set off for the charming fishermen’s village of Komiža on the island of Vis. The village exuded a laid-back vibe that resonated with my own island lifestyle. Strolling along the waterfront, I couldn’t resist stopping for a coffee and soaking in the picturesque surroundings.

Our next stop was the stunning Stiniva Cove, accessible only by sea. The cove’s secluded beauty was a sight to behold, and I couldn’t resist diving into the crystal-clear waters for a refreshing swim. The thrill of exploring such a unique location reminded me of the hidden gems I’ve discovered while surfing in the Caribbean.

As we continued our journey, we passed by Srebrena Beach, a location made famous by the film “Mamma Mia.” The skipper slowed down so we could capture the moment with photos, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder at the beauty of the Croatian coastline.

A Perfect Day in Hvar

Our final destination was the beautiful town of Hvar, where we had free time to explore at our leisure. The town’s vibrant atmosphere and stunning architecture were a delight to experience. I wandered through the charming streets, stopping to enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant.

For those seeking a bit of adventure, the Tvrdava Fortica offered breathtaking views of Hvar town and the Pakleni Islands. The climb to the top was well worth the effort, and the panoramic vistas were a perfect way to cap off an incredible day.
