Knossos Palace - Very informative! Its great to go with a guided tour as they offer bits of info that you otherwise wouldn't get. Also enables you to skip the lines and organizes your trek.

Good value trip - I recommend this trip, it's a cost effective way to get to Knossos and Heraklion. The guide Eleni was good at explaining everything and telling the story of the Minoan history. There were about 50 people on the modern coach and we were picked up and dropped off from our resort. Things ran to time pretty much with about 1.5 hours at Knossos and then 2.5 hours in Heraklion, other time was travelling between destinations. We found this ample to see the archaeological museum in Heraklion as well as lunch in a cafe and a wander round the old city of Heraklion. My teenagers enjoyed the trip too!

Fantastic voyage!!! Simply the best!!! - This was a fantastic tour of the Knossos Palace. The guide (Roula), who is Greek, switched effortlessly between German and English. She was a human dynamo! For around 2 hours she packed in fact after fact about the site, the history, the culture, the mythology of Crete and how it all related to the archaeological site. She sped round like Usain Bolt but was attentive and mindful of our safety. The site itself is very interesting and there is lots to see that feeds the imagination. We started around 9:50 with a packed coach, and spent till 12 at the palace. Then a trip into Heraklion and Roula swung into action again, explaining the history about Heraklion, its name, various capital cities throughout history, its growth and specific buildings of interest for the next 20 mins as the coach drew near to the city centre. Finally there was a short (25 mins) on foot tour round a few of the busy streets of the city, round the 4 lions statue and a beautiful church! It was an absolute joy and a great way of seeing the palace at Knossos and the main city centre. I’ve been on many tours but this was on another level! Thank you Roula!!

Knossos and Heraklion- fantastic day trip - The excursion to Knossos and Heraklion was a great experience. Our tour guide Roula was very professional and knew everything about the history of Knossos and Greek mythology. The entire trip was very well organized from pick up to drop off by our driver Iannis. I can recommend this day trip to anyone who is in Kreta.

Great cultural lesrning experience - Great way of learning about the Minoan Culture and highlights of the Knossos palace. . The tour around Heraklion could have been better. I will highly recommend just habing one language tours

Great guide - The guide was excellent but it did get tedious having it done once in English and again in German. I would have liked having a little more free time at Knossos but it was rushed due to the double info.

Very informative and lovely experience. - We had a lovely day spending time at the Palace of Knossos. Our tour guide, Eleni, was very knowledgeable and made the experience very enjoyable. Eleni also gave us a lot of information about the island and the city of Heraklion. I would have liked a bit more time at Knossos, but understand the constraints when touring to various places.

Great Experience - Pick up service was excellent, especially as location changed last minute but they arranged for us to be picked up and driven to the coach. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered nearly all the questions asked by the group, however I do wish we had some time to explore the palace ourselves as I feel we might have missed a few areas due to time constraints of the day, as we felt the stop in Heraklion could have been shorter, we understood that the length for Heraklion was so that people could do both the archaeological museum as well as the town centre.

Great trip, needed better organization though - I loved th sailing and the snorkeling. The crew was kind and did their jobs well. Only thre criticisms. Both of the organizers, not the crew. Getting liquids required asking, and they were served in small cups, even the water. I drank a LOT of water to recover when I got home. Just let the crew hand me a bottle of water when I ask. Because I know that is the organizers trying to save a penny or two. Second, people I was with had planned and booked a private your. They were split up. They took it well, but the issue slowed our departure, and dampened their fun. Three, the booking said I would get hotel pick up, and they switched me last minute to a meetup place. This last minute switch made me 5 minutes late, contributing to our delays. So while the crew and the trip were great, the organizers need to get better as their tasks.
