Fabulous Look at Life in Crete - This was our favorite tour during our 9 day trip to Greece - we loved everything about it. Our tour guide was terrific - she was very personable and we really enjoyed chatting with her throughout the day. (I'm only sorry I can't remember her name!). Knossos Palace is CROWDED - and it was hot - there were long lines to get in and we were there for about 90 minutes and decided to leave, to make sure we had plenty of time for everything else. Our personalized tour of Titakis winery and the tasting was lovely, we really enjoyed the experience (and of course took some home to enjoy!). Same for the olive farm, it was such an eye opening experience to see how the family makes their olive oil and nothing goes to waste! We brought lots of items home from there as well! We finished off with an amazing lunch - they just started bringing more and more dishes, each one delicious and what struck us was the hospitality. Everyone was so happy to show us a piece of their "everyday lives" and as my husband gushed at the end of the day, that is EXACTLY what we hoped to see. HIGHLY recommend this tour.
