Excellent, flexible guide - The guide was punctual and discussed what we would like to see. He provided excellent commentary about local scenery, history, and tourism. We informed him that we needed to pick up some delayed luggage at the Split airport so he rearranged the schedule. In fact, we went to a nice restaurant in Trogir, while he retrieved the luggage. That gesture was highly appreciated by me and my family.

A fantastic tour!! - We had a great driver, Tonya, who picked us up right at the cruise ship gate… very convenient. Fort Kliss was incredible, all the stops totally worthwhile. Highly recommend this tour.

Interesting History & Beautiful Views - The Klis fortress and Salona ruins had interesting history, and the view from the fortress was beautiful. It was fun to adventure and climb through the ruins. Filip (unsure of spelling) was very kind and informative, and he took us to a great restaurant for lunch. The car was also quite comfortable. We definitely recommend!

A Great Way to See Spots around Split - A fantastic way to get around all of the points of interest around Split without dedicating an entire day to any one of them. Our driver Luka was extremely friendly, helpful, and insightful, and had great recommendations for a lunch spot in Trogir which the whole group was extremely happy with. The flexibility and customizability that this tour allowed was greatly appreciated.

Enjoyable Experience - We booked an airport pick up in Split at arrival and departure. Thomas was there waiting for us at arrival. The vehicle was new and clean. Having just arrived for the first time in Split, Thomas provided basic information about the area, culture, people, etc…. We made such a great connection during the drive into town that we booked a private day tour for the next day with Thomas to Kliss Fortress, Solin and Trogir. While Thomas did not come with us to these sights, he dropped us off and told us what to do and when/where to meet. This allowed us free time in these places to wander and explore. The pickup on our departure from Split was on time as scheduled. The communication process throughout pre arrival and departure was spot on. I would definitely recommend Maci Tours for both airport pick up and private tours. Ask for Thomas!

Communicative and great service! - The weather in Split was unseasonably rainy and all boat tours were cancelled - enter Maci Tours to the rescue! We appreciated the super quick response to our inquiry for a private tour the next day to explore other sites on land around Split. The driver was early, super communicative, and took great care of us driving in the rain to Klis, Salona, and Trogir. He also kindly gave us recommendations for what to do on the rest of our vacation. Highly recommend Maci Tours!

Recommended Split side trip - We highly enjoyed our afternoon touring with Alen. Not only were the sites interesting, we loved learning the Croatian people from him. He went over and beyond making sure we had a wonderful experience.

Nice private car but not a guided tour. - Our driver was great but the title of this "tour" is misleading. It is not a tour, only a private car to take you to these 3 spots. All worth seeing if you want to experience part of the Croatian history. The drivers are not guides and may only have local and current knowledge. I overlooked the description that this was not a guided tour. But the private car was very nice and the driver was flexible as we visited the areas described.
