Northern Lights, Fire & Home - This Northern Lights hunt was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful experiences of our entire stay – and something we will remember forever. Over more than three hours we were led to special places with so much heart, peace and love that this tour felt more like an evening with friends than a classic activity. We stopped at three different spots, each carefully selected, away from the hustle and bustle and artificial light. And although December 30 is actually one of the more difficult days to see the Northern Lights, we were more than rewarded: The Northern Lights shone in green, red and even pink, dancing overhead and accompanying us wherever we were taken. It felt almost magical – as if someone had turned on heaven just for us. The absolute highlight was arriving at the family property. A backdrop like a winter fairy tale: A frozen lake, gently illuminated by lanterns, absolute silence, just the crunch of snow underfoot. There we had the opportunity to take beautiful photos – without any time pressure, without any stress, just enjoying. Added to this was this incredibly cosy get-together: Cake, doughnuts and sausages to grill yourself by the fire, hot drinks in your hands as the cold slowly swerved from your fingers. Later, we sat together at the huts – a maximum of eight people – which gave it an almost familiar, warm atmosphere. A special highlight was also the small snowmobile ride over the frozen lake. Short but unforgettable. This feeling of freedom, vastness and pure winter can hardly be put into words. However, what made this tour truly unique were the people: The family is just incredibly warm, loving and authentic. You feel welcome from the first moment, almost like home. The conversations were open, warm and honest, accompanied by a lot of laughter and a lightness that you can’t plan – it was just palpable and ran through the whole evening. A huge plus was also the small group size. We were only four people on the actual tour – no crowds, no waiting, no hustle and bustle. Everything was quiet, personal and relaxed. That's exactly how you imagine a Northern Lights hunt. And as if this evening hadn't been special enough, there was one very touching moment at the end: Since it was my birthday that day, I was spontaneously brought a cake with sparkler. A small gesture, but with so much heart that it showed perfectly how personal and attentive this tour is. This experience was cozy, magical, warm and deeply moving. If you want to experience the Northern Lights, it’s exactly like this: with warmth in your heart, a fire, good conversations, a quiet winter landscape – and the feeling of being part of something real.

the magic of the Northern Lights - We had booked the tour “ Experience the Northern Lights in a private atmosphere ” for the 24th of December 2025 and got the information a day before that there is no chance to see the Northern Lights on this day and the 23rd of December is more suitable. So we spontaneously rebooked and we say thank you for an incredible and unforgettable evening. Together with Ellen we drove from Levi into the woods between Kunnari and Lompolo. We've been able to experience this magic of the Northern Lights, just madness. Then we went to the cabin by the lake. There was a fire waiting in the fireplace and over warm drinks and sausages over the fire there were great conversations with Ellen and the other participants of the tour. We are so grateful for this evening!!!

Magnificent Nothern lights experience with an incredible host - What a wonderful experience ❤️ It was a truly unforgettable night. Heli took us in not as "tourists" but literally as friends. It felt nothing short of a cosy intimate evening between friends even though we did not know each other. She welcomed us into her authentic childhood cabin, standing there beautifully a few steps far from an incredible frozen lake. Even though at first we barely could see anything, which is super nirmal in the case of chasing Nothern lights, I personally felt incredibly happy and grateful for the thrilling experience and intimate set. But the end while we were heading back, Heli never stopped looking, and intuitively stopped the car where we had the most amazing show: Nothern lights surrounded us from above with different dancing shades and offered us a spectacular view❤️ Heli thank you so much for sharing this beautiful part of your life with us🌸 Thank you for making making my childhood dream coming true. And thank you for teaching me what the meaning of my nickname in Finnish means. "Soma" I wish you all the best ❤️

Heli the best - Such a great expérience with a very nice small group. Heli is a wonderful person full of good energy. She explains Lapland life very easily and knows everything about Northernlight. That was my dream seeing some and thanks to her it came true. She won a contest 2 weeks ago and She totally deserve it..

Amazing northern lights cabin with Heli - We did the northern lights cabin trip with Heli, and it was the absolute highlight of our time in Finland. Heli is one of the best guides we've ever met, and showed us incredible hospitality! We loved visiting her lakefront cabin and hanging out in the Kota. When we arrived at the lake, the lights were incredibly strong and we got to see every color and formation. The lights even moved in a spiral directly overhead for an absolutely surreal experience. The sausages, berry juice, and cake in the Kota were delicious, and we really felt welcomed. On the drive to and from the cabin we also stopped to see the lights from other angles. This is an absolute must do excursion for anyone visiting Levi, thank you again Heli!!

Spectacular Northern Lights Experience in Lapland - Phenomenal!!! Heli is a wonderful, caring and welcoming host and also very informative. We had the most incredible night and were lucky enough to witness an absolutely spectacular display of dancing Northern Lights, viewed from the middle of the frozen lake. Heli also showed us how to adjust the exposure time on our iPhones to get the best photos and also took photos of us as a couple. The hut was warm and so cosy, with a fire and snacks to warm us in between visits outside to check the progress of the lights. Thank you so much, Heli, for your hospitality and friendliness 🙏

Northern Lights Tour in the Wilderness - This excursion is highly recommended🥰 We saw a lot of Northern Lights and afterwards we were able to warm up in the cozy cabin of Heli and enjoy sausages and marshmallow in front of the fire😊🥰

The best experience in Finland! - Simply UNforgettable! Heli provided us with an amazing night in his cabin on the edge of a frozen lake in Lompolo. We feel like you are part of your family, in a cozy atmosphere! And to make everything even more perfect the Aurora appeared in all forms, during the whole night we were there! Heli, thank’s for making last night an unforgetable one!!! We wait for you in Brazil!!!

Amazing guide for an amazing northern lights hunt! - Heli was amazing we had a wonderful time with her! 💯 recommend this tour. It was very authentic, private, unique, and we got to see amazing northern lights along the way. Heli didn’t hesitate a second to stop the car for us whenever we spotted something in the sky on the way to the cozy cabin and on the way back. She took a lot of pictures for us and prepared us some snacks next to a warm fire where we also tasted her homemade berry juice and marshmallows! All in all we would do it again with eyes closed.
