Beautiful scenery, very comfortable bus. - 10 hour tour but filled with so many interesting views. Many stops to explore and check out the water falls and black beach. Our guide was Stefen and he had so much information to share about all the beautiful area. I am so glad we were able to take this tour, we learned so much about Iceland and the people.

Beautiful landscapes - Great trip! Long but interesting.
The guide not too present pdt the tour just some stealth explanations pdt the route. But driver at the top despite the 4 seasons in 1 day! We have all seen what has been proposed!
Thank you!

Beautiful awesome scenery :) - Be prepared for a long but really fun day. Wear waterproof clothes for the waterfalls.
This South Coast, Jökulsárlón & Diamond Beach day tour from Reykjavik is absolutely worth every hour. The scenery is stunning from start to finish—black sand beaches, dramatic cliffs, glaciers, and crystal-clear glacial lagoons. Jökulsárlón was the highlight for me, with its surreal floating icebergs and the magical Diamond Beach just across the road, where ice chunks glisten like jewels on the black sand.
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the long drive engaging with stories and fun facts about Iceland. The stops were well-paced, giving us enough time to explore without feeling rushed.

Great tour and absolutely... - Great tour and absolutely worth it. Though quite long, the nature wonders we saw were spectacular, from the Glacier Lagoon to the waterfalls and black sand beaches. The tour team were also amazing (Linda and Austin, thank you!) - the driver worked hard the entire long drive and the tour guide not only provided us with information on the visited locations, history of the country, general geography of the island, but also gave some very nice food suggestions (Icelandic lamb is now my new love!)

Glorious Locations - The stops on the tour are marvelous. It is difficult to overstate the beauty of the locations and how different they are from most other locations in the world. Be prepared, however, for a lot of time on the bus. It is worth it, but you will do a lot of sitting during the day (trip left Reykjavik around 7:30 after pickups and returned 15 hours later). If you do not mind the higher cost, I would suggest opting for the smaller group private tours.
The one downside of the tour was the guide. If you take away the time for his comments about when to return to the bus and how long we would be at a location, he spoke less than 10 minutes during the 15 hours. With a captive audience, even a 30 minute discussion of the nation’s history with some local tales thrown in would have been welcome. Particularly as the guide had a name straight out of one of the sagas, he could have provided a fun bit of background.

Great tour - need to manage the tour group better - A few things to say about this trip. Yes it's a long day, but the tour has frequent stops, so it doesn't feel long really. The places we visited were amazing, especially Vik, the glacier lagoon and diamond beach. The weather for the latter two was pretty unkind but it didn't detract from the tour.
Costs a fair bit, but considering it's over 400 miles round trip it'e pretty good, and the scenery in between the stops is amazing (not sure why people go to sleep for most of the trip!).
The guide and driver were great and informative (can't remember the guides name - something like Kertin).
The only thing I would note is that it costs more to get picked up from a stop local to your accommodation, we did this and by the time the bus got to us it was full. We would have been better to walk or taxi (which would have cost less than the add on for the individual pick up point) to the bus station and we would have had a better chance at a seat together.
The guide advised people not to move seats without speaking to the other passengers first (when we got on there were a lot of people travelling together in one party, but sitting in separate seats, I assume to be at a window, who then slept most of the way (I've seen this before). The tour guide we had the day before on another tour had spotted this, and when the bus got more full asked people to sit beside those they were travelling with. To be honest they shouldn't need to, people should be more considerate but that's the way it is, and they are "in charge" of the tour. So I felt that was badly handled.
Overall, excellent trip but if they aren't going to manage the seating better then your best chance (and cheaper option) is to go to the bus station or if not bothered about paying a bit extra, find out where their earlier pick ups are.

Terrible experience, a guide tour called Dennis making us miss some attractions!!! - Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Tour!
I joined the South Coast day tour on April 8 and it was one of the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve ever had. The tour did not follow the official itinerary listed on the website — we completely skipped key highlights including Diamond Beach, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, and Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon, even though they were clearly included in the package.
To make matters worse, the tour returned 40 minutes earlier than scheduled, which means there was enough time to visit these attractions. It was painfully obvious that our tour guide, Dennis, intentionally rushed through the day to finish early. There was no explanation, no apology, and absolutely no consideration for the people on the bus who had paid full price for this experience.
Dennis was disorganized, uncommunicative, and frankly, unprofessional throughout the entire day. His actions not only ruined the experience but also disrespected everyone’s time and money.
Do not trust this company or this guide to deliver what they promise. I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for reliable and honest tour providers.
