• Mount Batur - Hotel pick-up in Bali is arranged early in the morning.
  Get ready for an early morning pick-up. A driver will collect you from your hotel to take you to the starting point of the Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking. Hotel transfer service is included in Ubud.

Note: An additional fee (IDR100,000/pax) will be charged if your hotel is outside the pick-up area. The pick-up time will be notified upon booking confirmation.
On the way to the starting point, you have the opportunity to rest in the car if you need extra sleep. The drive takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to the starting point, allowing you to make the most of your time.
Arrive at the starting point between 2:30-3:00 am.
At 3:00 am, we will reach the starting point and prepare for our adventure trek to the peak of Mount Batur. Banana pancakes and coffee or tea will be provided for breakfast before heading to the top. Next, a local guide will give a briefing and explain the plan for the trek to the summit. A guide will be assigned to your group. You will receive a flashlight to help illuminate the path during the trek. Typically, one local guide is responsible for five people.

2-hour trek accompanied by a licensed Mount Batur trekking organization guide
At 3:30-4:00 am, you will be accompanied by a licensed trekking organization guide to assist with your approximately 2-hour ascent. The guide will match the pace of our journey, and you can request to stop at any time to rest or take photos. After an hour of trekking, we will pause to rest and drink the provided water. Then, we will continue the journey, enjoying the fresh morning atmosphere until reaching the peak of Mount Batur. The first hour of the trek is on a gently sloping road. After that, the terrain becomes increasingly challenging with steep slopes. Wearing suitable footwear for mountain climbing will be very helpful.

Reaching the Peak of Mount Batur
Upon reaching the summit, you will receive a breakfast package and eggs cooked in volcanic steam while waiting for the sunrise. Prepare your camera to capture this extraordinary moment. The view depends on the current weather conditions. On cloudy days, the view may be limited. On sunny days, you will see beautiful landscapes. Even on cloudy days, you can still enjoy the stunning views of the crater, Lake Batur, and Mount Agung during the descent.

During the trek down Mount Batur, you can stop to see the hot steam rising from the mountain’s crater. Along the way, you can clearly see Lake Batur and Mount Agung from the top of Mount Batur. You can ask the guide to stop for photos to remember the experience. You will arrive at the parking area around 8:30 to 9:00 am, and then the driver will take you back to the hotel.

Return journey to the hotel
However, you can also visit various tourist attractions on the way back to the hotel, with additional costs due to extra tour time and entrance fees. If you wish to engage in these additional activities, it is best to discuss them with us in advance.

Toya Devasya Hot Springs
Soaking in the hot springs at Toya Devasya after climbing Mount Batur is very beneficial for relaxing your body. The cost is IDR 180,000 per person, including lockers, towels, welcome drinks, and changing rooms, with views directly overlooking Lake Batur.

Tegalalang Rice Terraces
The tourist attraction of terraced rice fields located in the tourist village of Tegalalang is very popular. The farmers still use traditional farming methods to maintain the natural appeal for tourists. This rice field is known as Ceking Rice Terrace.

Bali Swing Tegalalang Ubud
This attraction is popular among tourists who seek an adrenaline rush by swinging over cliffs and steep rivers. The swing is equipped with safety gear.

Bali Pulina Ubud Agro-tourism
The agricultural tourism located in Tegalalang Ubud offers natural landscapes with several interesting spots to capture the natural beauty of this coffee plantation area. Additionally, you can see the process of making civet coffee typical of Bali Pulina, from the civets eating and excreting the coffee beans, which are then roasted and ground into coffee powder. Finally, you can taste coffee drinks with different flavors from Bali Pulina Ubud products.

Guides are provided for those who manage to climb Mount Batur. The Mount Batur climbing manager has dozens to hundreds of guides to safely take you to the top of Mount Batur. All climbers must be accompanied by guides to ensure tourist safety.
