Awesome tour guide and a very rewarding hike!! - 11/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND if you’re in Ubud, the view at the top is a must-see. Our tour guide Wira Negara made it so enjoyable despite the difficult hike, he was very kind even when we had to stop quite a bit and took amazing pictures. We were a group of 4 girls and felt very safe with him! Genuinely the highlight of our trip!!

Amazing hike experience - This experience was amazing! Our guide, Wira, was so helpful and supportive throughout the hike and took incredible photos throughout. The views from the peak were great and we were lucky enough to see monkeys as well. The hike is a bit strenuous, so I’d recommend eating something before, but they do serve breakfast at the top!

Great experience - Was a great experience that was definitely worth the early wake up. Our driver Ageng was lovely and on time and our guide Yus was incredible. He took awesome pictures of us and had an unprecedented knowledge of Mt Batur and its surroundings. Would definitely reccommend.

Great view - Had an early wake up for the Mount Batur tour and it was great. Was guided along by Komang and had a great time. Got lucky with the weather as it was low season but still views were great. Recommended

Hot Chocolate Sunrise on Mount Batur - A must do experience in Bali! It's magical, rewarding and worth the effort. The morning started punctually with a lovely greeting from friendly Komang, picking us up from out hotel in Ubud and safely driving us the 1.5hrs to the base at the bottom of the mountain were we met out fantastic guide Yus. Yus lead us up in the dark with headlamps. He set a good pace and made sure during the whole trip we were comfortable and provided plenty of opportunities for a rest and water break. We have moderate fitness but he never pushed us and was very understanding. It is a somewhat challenging climb but well worth it at the top. Recommend having a windbreaker or warm jumper for the top because it gets cold and it's about an hour wait for the sunrise. A delicious hot chocolate helped keep us warm. Yus took photos and took really good care of us. He was a true guide with so much local knowledge. So warm and friendly. The way back is much easier. Yus also recommended we leave a little earlier than the mass of people so we had a clear path down (excellent recommendation to not wait). The view is stunning with the sunrise. Yus and Komang made it that bit more special - thank you!

Extraordinary - We hiked Mount Batur with our WIRA guide, it was great! 👍 Wira was very nice, much more than a classic guide, thank you again 🙏 For transport we had as driver Komang who was punctual and nice also. She made us come and go from our hotel with a good prudent and calm drive. Not to be missed!!

Amazing volcano experience! - It was an amazing experience. Yes you need to get up early but the trip makes it all worth it! Our tour guide Wira was a nice and friendly guide who told us about the mountain, the lava, the trail and who guided us safely to the top and also back. I would recommend this tour! The breakfast on top of the mountain was good and a hot chocolate never tasted so good. Extra bonus: the starry heaven and the moon. Thank you Wira for making it an unforgettable tour with lots of beautiful pictures!

A must for your Bali trip! - We did the Mount Batur sunrise hike this morning and despite the 1am wake up it was all worth it! Our driver Simon and guide Wira were both incredibly friendly, kind and sweet, they made the overall experience even more special! Simon came to pick us up perfectly on time and made sure we were comfortable on our way to the start of the hike with Wira. We booked a shared group hike, but were three in our group, I guess due to the low season, and but still had a difference in pace among ourselves. However, Wira made all three of us feel comfortable and supported the entire way, he offered constant breaks and waited for us patiently, and we all made it safely to the top despite the surrounding darkness. The hike is not very challenging, but also not that easy due to the darkness, steepness and changes in the ground texture. In the end, we were rewarded with amazing views of the sunrise and Mount Agung, Mount Abang, and Lake Batur, as Wira pointed out. He also shared a lot of interesting details about lives of Balinese, facts about Mount Batur and a lot of other interesting stories, and made us delicious breakfast on top and took some really amazing pictures! He really went above and beyond to make this experience enjoyable, safe and fun for us. Thank you Simon and Wira for making this hike so special and memorable!
