Wonderful experience & reliable tour company. - An amazing experience watching the Mt Batur sunrise. My driver, Mr. Komang, was right on time for pickup, very friendly, and extremely informative about the local area. His English is excellent and he was very helpful throughout the journey.
The local guide for Mount Batur was very sweet and caring. She kept checking on us and guided us patiently all the way to the top. Overall, it was a truly memorable and wonderful experience.

Great excursion with amazing views - We made this family excursion with 2 teenagers of 11 and 15 years old. Our guide was at the top. We all really liked it. The view was amazing.
The hot springs after the excursion did us really good. Excursion not to be missed!

Amazing view + really cool guide - We went on the Mount Batur trecking with our guide "Adi". It was really amazing, not just because the breathtaking sunrise, also because our guide was really funny, spoke good english and told us a lot about the history of the vulcan. We would definitely recommend the tracking.

Magical experience - What can I say about this experience,the best on my visit to Bali. We were picked up on time at 2.30 am by Radek who drove us to base camp safely and gave us all the information we needed as to what to expect.It was there we met our guide Gunawan who gave us some tea before we set off Then on to the climb which took about 1.15 minutes it's quite challenging but Gunawan s kindness and help and a few breathers we made it to the top. Although still dark the light was just starting to come through.As we sat Gunawan went to prepare our breakfast which was great.Then as we light started to change the view started to appear truly amazing Gunawan took some fantastic photos of us and was a real laugh we had a great time.then when we were ready back down we went to meet Radek who took us to the thermal spa which was nice to rest the tired legs ,then back to the hotel to rest expertly driven by Radek Amazing

Fabulous experience and brilliant hike with a fun guide - This was the most amazing experience and well worth the steep ascent .
This hike was steep but short and for anyone with a moderate level of fitness this is fine.
At the top this was such a fabulous experience and well worth the wait
Our guide was brilliant, he pushed us up so we got good spot waiting for the sun to rise .
We were given blankets, hot tea and a breakfast . Once the sun was out he took us to different points of the mountain for pictures and these were spectacular.
One experience we will never forget. Definitely recommend.

Amazing time! - Great time going up to Mt Batur, after relaxing at Natural Spa and finishing the day visiting local Abian Kusuma Sari coffee plantation.
Our tour guide, the coffee guide and driver all were wonderful and helped us with everything we needed.

The best experience - We booked this excursion back in the UK a long time ago so I wasn't sure whether it would actually work? However all was good. From start to finish. We were picked up from our hotel bang on time by our driver for the day Kadek Dwika. He drove us to base camp very early in the morning where he handed us over to our trekking guide Adi. Adi guided us up the mountain and made sure we stopped for breaks. When we reached the top we sat down by a hut where he cooked us breakfast while we waited for sunrise. It was a beautiful sight for sure.
Adi took us to the summit where the view was spectacular 360⁰. On the way back down Adi made sure we were OK and told us when it got a bit slippery. He handed us back over to our driver Kadek who took us back to our hotel.
A few things to consider though, it is a volcano and some of the trail up is steep and hard work.
Volcanic Ash is very fine and gets in your shoes/boots so your feet will be black once you get back down.
However. This excursion is one of the best things I have ever done so I would very much recommend it.

Tough trek with the best guide!! - I found the hike tough but my sister was fine - she’s trains regularly where I just walk and weights. Our guide was very accomodating though and we just stopped often. Would recommend good shoes and a change of clothes for after cause everything gets very dusty. Couldn’t say enough good things about our guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and a great sort! Took some super pics for us up the top too!

Great trip to the top of... - Great trip to the top of Mount Batur - very glad that headlights and a trekking stick were included!
Our guide was nice, ensured our safety and got the job done. We started the route near the same road where Jeeps were also going up, but peeled off after 20 minutes to a hiking-only path.
Hot springs were fine - very commercial but nice to have a soak after the hike!
Heads up - if you are looking for a tour where you're being informed about the mountain and its surroundings, this might not be for you. Our guide spoke just enough English to cover us for the trip., but not enough for longer explanations or to answer some of our questions about the history of the area.
