It is still an active volcano located 1717 meters above sea level and is known for its natural beauty and magnificent sunrise.
You will arrive at the summit crater at around 6am where you will be able to experience a spectacular sunrise. You can also enjoy a simple breakfast of tea and eggs cooked in the volcanic steam. Enjoy the sunrise and explore 3 new craters before descending down to the bottom of the mountain where you will arrive around 9am. - Batur Natural Hotspring - Visit the natural hot springs where you can relax your muscles in the warm and natural refreshing water after the hiking.

This experience was like... - This experience was like nothing we had ever done before, our guide was fantastic, really friendly, very knowledgeable and just generally fantastic. We didn't get to see the sunrise because of bad weather but we still had a great time and would definitely recommend

Amazing Trip! - Fantastic trip booked on Viator. Had introductory message from Leo telling us what to expect & confirm pick up from hotel reception. Very chatty and informative. Took us to meet our guide for the Trek.
Was not disappointed by the the beautiful views from the top of Mt. Batur. Good fun with our guide. Lovely brekky before heading down another trail. Leo then took us to the hot springs which wsd well needed. Quick stop to try some Luwak coffee. All in all would recommend booking this 10/10.

Perfect early morning - It was a very early morning but definitely worth it! Desna had been my driver on previous tours and I was happy to have him again. He adds so much to the tour, even at 4 am! He shares so much about local Balinese culture, which for me personally adds so much to my experience. I would highly recommend this tour and Desna.

Sunrise Hike - It was an amazing experience! Its hard going getting to the top but even though it was cloudy for us it was well worth it. We had an amazing driver Surya, who was super friendly and really made us feel at home - driving us around and pointing at local things. Also, I have to give a massive shout-out to our hiking guide Wayan!! Without him, I'm not sure I would have made it to the top! He was always there to give me a helping hand and letting me set my own (slow) pace to get up Mount Batur

Amazing day exploring beautiful Bali thanks to Hire Bali Driver!! - Our experience with Hire Bali Driver was nothing short of amazing! We had a 1:30am pickup and our driver Dekwi was very prompt and professional. Our tour included an early morning volcano sunrise hike, hot springs, and waterfall. Dekwi made sure we covered all of these wonderful places and gave us all the time we needed to explore and create lifetime memories. He even helped us capture some amazing pictures! The communication with hire Bali driver was very courteous. They were accommodating in tailoring our day to make sure we had a great Bali experience.

Steep climbing fun - Sadly we didn’t get to see the sunrise as it was raining and cloudy but the climb was fun and so was the alternate decent. I must stress you need to be some what fit for this. It’s not a gentle walk. The meal is very basic, an egg, some toast with a banana. The guide was lovely and again we were picked up by a private driver for this who was great.

Amazing experience - This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our driver Krisda was awesome. He was there at our hotel very early morning even before our start time of 1:30am. We were able to sleep comfortable in the car for our 2 hour car ride to Mt Batur. Krisda was very nice, kind, informative and knowledgeable. Also took our pictures at the hot springs. Our local tour guide in Mt Batur during the hike was also amazing. The views on Mount Batur is absolutely breathtaking. It was worth the 2 hour hike up. But our guide slowed down when we asked and never rushed us. He showed us amazing views and locations on the mountain.

Nightly drive, safe and according to rules. Navigation was top! - Strict timing, very helpful and Surya respected our wishes. He clearly understood and requested what we wanted.
Good communication and great insights into life in Bali and surroundings.

Amazing Day with Driver and Kan - Overall, I cannot recommend HireBaliDriver or this tour enough. Although this hike was early, it was absolutely worth it for the views! Our driver got us to the mountain in a timely fashion, and he was great the rest of the day as well! Also, our other guide who hiked up the mountain with us, Kan, was fantastic! Overall, I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go on a cool adventure!
