- Kehen Temple - Kehen Temple is one of the most stunning temples, constructed in the 11th century by the Royal Kingdom of Bangli. It has become a popular tourist destination on Bali Island.
- Besakih Temple - Besakih Temple is a temple complex situated in the village of Besakih, District Rendang, Karangasem Regency, Bali, Indonesia. The Besakih complex includes 1 main temple (Penataran Besakih) and 18 auxiliary temples (1 Pura Basukian and 17 others). In Pura Basukian, the first divine revelation was received by Hyang Rsi Markendya, marking the beginning of Agama Hindu Dharma in Bali. Besakih is the focal point for all temple activities in Bali. Among all the temples in the Besakih complex, Penataran is the largest, with the most structures, rituals, and serves as the center of the complex. In Penataran, there are 3 main temple statues representing the divine nature of God Stana Tri Murti: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, symbolizing the Creator, Sustainer, and Deity of Reincarnation. Besakih has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Site nomination list since 1995.
- Tirta Empul Temple - Tirta Empul Temple is a beautiful temple complex and sacred mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The site is the legendary setting of a traditional tale about good versus evil and is also a national cultural heritage site. Built in 960 AD, it stands as a silent witness to the old Balinese kingdom, particularly during the Warmadewa Dynasty. Nearby, on a hilltop, is the presidential palace, Istana Tampaksiring, constructed during the era of the nation’s first president, Soekarno.
- Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple - Gunung Kawi Rocky Temple is one of the most remarkable Balinese Hindu temples. To reach this archaeological site, visitors must walk down into the valley via several hundred steps. Along the way, there are shops selling typical tourist items as well as unique handicrafts like coconut shell and bone carvings. Although bone carvings are available throughout Bali, they originate from this village. Many talented carvers specializing in bone or even ivory carving come from this area. As visitors continue down, they will be delighted by the beautiful view of the valley.
- Elephant Cave - Goa Gajah Temple is an archaeological site of great historical significance, making it a special place to visit. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers from central Ubud, it takes less than an hour to explore its relic-filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, central meditation cave, bathing pools, and fountains. The temple’s name is slightly misleading, as it suggests a large dwelling full of elephants.

Excellent Tour with Friendly Driver - Mr. Agus the driver was helpful and fun to be with. The tour visits 5 temples including the "Mother Temple" Besakih. This tour involves alot of walking and climbing stairs so wear comfortable shoes and bring a surong as required for entrance into Hindu temples. I highly recommend this tour with Agus.

Hired driver service, not a tour. - If you are interested in a tour to learn about the culture and history of the temples, and their significance in the Hindu religion, I would not recommend this tour. Our driver was great. He kept us safe on the road and delivered us to almost all of the stops (one was skipped, but we are not sure why). Unfortunately he was not a guide. He did not speak English and was unable to tell us about anything we were seeing. This is not a tour in the traditional sense, but a hired driver service. Which was a bit disappointing. We saw many beautiful temples but had no understanding of the cultural or relgious significance. In the end, everything was beautiful and our driver kind, but this was not the tour we expected.
