This Fort stands at 601 feet above the sea level, it is the major early 19th century fortification in Saint Vincent. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Leeward side of the island, including Kingstown, Young Island, the Caribbean, Bequia and the Grenadines. - Dark View Falls - The Dark View Falls are two spectacular waterfalls, one above the other, cascading down high cliff faces and plunging into natural pools. There is a short and easy hike to the falls through rainforest and across the Richmond River via either a bamboo bridge or conventional bridge. You pass through a clearing in the middle of a pretty bamboo grove before reaching the first tall waterfall. Another short, but more difficult walk will take you up to the second waterfall, directly above the first. The waterfalls flow all year from a tributary of the Richmond River.
- Pirates of the Caribbean - Visit to the scenes where the blockbuster movie Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. Before heading to the final stop the Buccament Beach
- Buccament Bay - End the day with a relaxing swim at the beautiful white sandy beach of the Buccament Bay.
- Botanical Gardens - This garden is one of the oldest gardens in the Western Hemisphere. It also serves as a conservation site for our local parrot the Amazona Guildingii.

A great day tour to get a... - A great day tour to get a good feel of the island. Austin, our guide, was a good host. Would recommend this tour.

Great experience - We booked the tour through TripAdvisor. The communication with tour operators was extremely excellent. They texted me shortly after the booking with the details and adjusted the tour to our schedule as we arrived earlier on the ferry from Bequia. The tour guide was very helpful, experienced, and what was most important, he was the very good driver! The falls were incredibly beautiful! Pack a towel if you are planning to swim. Highly recommend visiting and booking the tour with that company!

With some limitations, but scenically beautiful. - A beautiful experience to experience the island and see the beautiful vegetation. At the meeting point it was a bit “chaotic” with the layout, but after that we started with some photo stops. Unfortunately, the driver was hard to understand, he had no mic and it was very exhausting - in need of improvement. The way to the falls was fantastic and the falls were small but beautiful. The suspension bridge was very small, if you know other things. Unfortunately, all the tourists have jammed there, as you could not even enjoy it alone. The location of “Curse of the Carbide” may be worth seeing, but it’s getting old. The beach is dark there, you should know beforehand. The botanical garden was no longer approached, which was a pity, as this was also not wanted by the driver and we could not visit this unfortunately.

Full Day Tour in a Bus - Basic tour of the following:
Dark Falls
Pirates of the Caribbean
Beach by Secrets
Botanical Garden.
There were 12 0f us on a 14 passenger van. Lots of time driving to different sites. Our driver offered beer, water, and punch. Snacks were plantain chips and bananas. Guide-driver did give some initial information. This tour was a cheaper alternative to cruise ship. The Pirates of Caribbean was disappointing.

A great tour of the falls... - A great tour of the falls & well worth the drive. Scenery is beautiful.
We were late arriving back at our meeting point which was stressful as we had a driver waiting for us for over a half hour

Waterfalls trip - The trip included the falls, pirates of the Caribbean set , a beach stop and the botanical gardens and was a 6-7 hour tour. The roads were windy and our driver was very careful and considerate in her driving.
The falls are beautiful and we’re quiet when we arrived although our tour driver stayed with the van and left us to wander on our own. We saw the 2 falls and returned to the van for a complimentary drink and snack ( mango) . We then went on to the pirates location and again the driver stayed at the van whilst we wandered around. The location was tired and hadn’t been looked after so wasn’t really worth the visit and we were there maybe 20 mins . We then went onto a beach stop near sands resort. Not the prettiest beach and again we all ( 4 of us) walked to the beach and back , maybe 20 mins stopping time with the driver remaining at the van. The driver then took us back to Kingstown and on to our respective drop off points missing out the tropical gardens. When asked she said her boss said it was ok to miss the gardens sometimes as some guests preferred to stay longer on the beach. We didn’t stay long anywhere and we were back dropped off with the total tour lasting 5 hours instead of they 6-7 expected. It felt like our driver just wanted to finish her day early and go home.
Would I recommend a trip to the falls ? YES .
Would I go with the same company? NO and I wouldn’t do the pirates or the beach either. It may be better booking a private taxi and just doing the falls.

Poor value. Dire taxi condition. Not enough time to enjoy stops. - Our guide was lovely, but his taxi was clapped out and cramped with six adult passengers. No seat belts or headrests for middle seats. Aircon didn’t work - had to be switched off when going up or down steep hills as the engine was at risk of overheating. Hills were tortuously slow. Taken to the Sandals beach - but only had access to a tiny public section where the state of the chairs and umbrellas matched the state of the taxi. Not enough time at the waterfalls or for lunch to arrive within our 30minute time window at the Pirates of the Caribbean beach, which we were told was a lunch stop opportunity. Promised snacks and fruit but given only a small slice of golden apple, bought by chance from a passing farmer. Stopped at a supermarket en route for ice and plenty of drinks available. Also missed botanical gardens as out of time to be back to ship. Not
entirely the fault of the knackered taxi - we had stopped at a pharmacy, got delayed behind a large tour group (unable to cross bamboo bridge) at the waterfalls and had a longer wait than expected for lunch. Lovely island and great places to visit - but lots of our time was spent overheating in the clapped out taxi trying to get there.
