• Kingstown Ferry Terminal - The tour begins at the Kingstown cruise ship terminal, offering a journey through the capital city, Kingstown. Participants will be introduced to historical landmarks such as The Central Police Station, The Financial Complex, The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, and the Cenotaph.
• Kingstown Market - The tour will pass through the lively market square, bustling with vendors and farmers selling local produce.
• Kingstown Methodist Church - Continuing through Kingstown, the tour will travel along “back street,” where guests will learn about the Methodist, Anglican, and Roman Catholic churches.
• Buccament Bay - The tour will proceed along the Nelson Mandela Highway, formerly the Leeward Highway. Along the way, participants will see The Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, Victoria Park (known as Carnival City during Carnival season), the oldest Botanical Gardens in the western hemisphere, the industrial area of Campden Park, and the scenic Buccament Bay, where a brief photo stop will be made.
• Layou Village - Just north of Buccament Bay lies Layou, one of the earliest French settlements in St. Vincent and The Grenadines, dating back to the early 18th century. The area also features Carib petroglyphs. A photo stop will be made here.
• Barrouallie - The tour continues to the fishing village of Barrouallie, established by French settlers in 1719 and once the capital of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Known for its fishing and famous for “Blackfish,” Barrouallie is nestled in a protective mountain basin.
• Wallilabou - The next stop is Wallilabou Bay, famous for the opening scenes of “The Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl.” It is a popular destination for cruise ship visitors.
• Cumberland Bay - The Cumberland Power Development, a recent addition to St. Vincent’s hydraulic system, features a cascade of three generating stations with diversion weirs and pipelines.
• Troumaca Primary School - After passing Troumaca Primary School, a photo stop will be made to capture views of The La Soufrière Volcano, standing 4049 feet above sea level. On clear days, St. Lucia is visible in the distance.
• Chateaubelair Police Station - Chateaubelair, a large fishing village on the west coast of Saint Vincent, is located near the La Soufrière volcano. Known as “Chateau,” it is the largest community in the North Leeward constituency. Attractions include Trinity Falls, Darkview Falls, and Carib Indian rock carvings. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty and warm hospitality of Chateaubelair.
• Dark View Falls - Dark View Falls features two stunning waterfalls cascading down cliffs into natural pools. A short hike through the rainforest and across the Richmond River leads to the first waterfall, with a more challenging walk to the second. The falls flow year-round from a Richmond River tributary.
• Buccament Bay - After visiting Dark View Falls, the tour returns to Buccament Beach, where guests have an hour to swim or snorkel.
