Great experience! Reggae music is King! - What a great set of humans running this tour. Amicar and Uncle Chris hopped on our tour bus for 2 days straight and took us everywhere. We were on the Reggae Road Trip which was a 5 days whirlwind of site tours. We saw the gravesites of Dennis Brown and Toots Hibbert amongst the sites of Marcus Garvey at Heros National Park. Paying tribute to the living as well as those who have passed on. We went to Randys Records..17th N..Parade on the wall outside.. blow ur mind awesome historical site still in operation. Dig thru some 45s and take a listen on the OG turntable..and get urself some tunes. Good times..great sound..
We visited and were led thru Trenchtown, where many top reggae talent resided as youths--Bob Marley and the Wailers epicenter -- what an experience! When we were in Culture Yard, up walks the King of Ghana..surprised me!! Super duper special to be there at the same time.
Chris and Amicar took us on an art walk stroll accompanied with those artists greatest hits in a fine Bluetooth styleee..that was fun. Dancing in the streets..
Highly suggest this crew to take u around to the roots of reggae in Kingston and beyond. Top notch vibez.. I would def be calling Uncle Chris's crew back for my next tour in Kingston, Jamiaca.
U should too!!

Amazing Experience - This was a wonderful experience and a must for any lover of reggae music. Chris and Amilcar were fun and knowledgeable hosts and tour guides. I would highly recommend any reggae fan or fan of Jamaican music or culture to come to the Bunny Lee Museum and Studio and see for themselves. Other than the history behind the place, the atmosphere is very clean and comfortable. Thank you for the amazing tour and hospitality. One perfect Love Bro Karlos Naphtali

Great museum for history of Bunny Lee's prolific recording career - entertaining tour guide - The tour was fantastic! Chris gave an informed and entertaining tour. I learned so much about the life and output of Bunny Lee's prolific career. The studio tour has most of the recording equipment, mixing boards, and even instruments from various periods in the studio's history. I really enjoyed seeing Jackie Mittoo's organ and Lee Perry's spring reverb. There are really cool murals in the exit way out and sweet merchandise to purshase. Make sure to get a picture of yourself in the Idler's rest!

Behind the Music: Reggae's Legendary Producer - If you’re interested in Reggae music, the sound system culture, or Jamaica’s musical legacy, then the Bunny Lee Museum is an absolute must-visit.
This experience felt truly immersive as we were transported into the world of Reggae, Dub, and the legendary sound systems that shaped global music. The storytelling by Edward "Striker" Jnr was rich and very impressive how he's keeping his father's legacy alive.
Whether you’re a lifelong Reggae fan or just curious about the roots of the genre, the Bunny Lee Museum offers something special. It’s educational without feeling heavy, nostalgic, very interactive and deeply inspiring from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kingston!

A Must Do Tour that is Right on Target - We recently visited the Bunny Lee Museum and Recording Studio in Kingston. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Jamaica to visit this museum/studio in order get a greater appreciation of the history of Jamaica.
Upon entering the museum, you literally step back in time and discover the artists , producers and other key people who were the building blocks of Jamaican music . You hear and see their stories and listen to the music who were initially all under the production and influence of the great Bunny (Striker) Lee … producer, and musical icon in Jamaica. You learn about his influence and his mark on so many Jamaican artists. You then go inside the studio where it all happened and see the countless 45’s, LP’s and tapes that were borne from the original recording equipment that is on display.
The owner, Striker Jr, is passionate speaking about his father and showcasing his father’s influence on Jamaican music. His commentary and his hands on interactive presentation draws you in so that everyone can relive the experience from those early days in Jamaican music which only adds to the wonderful experience of this tour.
A must do trip when in Jamaica.

The hit maker from Jamaica!!! - If you do one museum tour whilst in Jamaica you MUST do this one! Everything about it… the history, the stories, it’s all there within these walls along with the original equipment used by the legend Bunny himself. Hidden gem, great stories and staff. - An unexpected treat. We had not originally put this on our schedule but we’re so glad we did. It filled in a big gap in our knowledge of reggae history. Amilcar And Uncle Chris were great hosts and full of fascinating items and stories. There are some amazing exhibits and it really tells the story of the influence Bunny Lee had on reggae in Jamaica and the UK. As supporters (and a volunteer of the UK’s Coventry Music Museum it was great to share information about ska. Definitely worth music lovers including in your plans.
