Several small lagoons are nestled among the vertical sections of the falls.

The falls cascade into the Caribbean Sea at the western edge of a stunning white-sand beach. Climbing the waterfalls is a favored activity among tourists, often guided by park tour guides, though it can be done independently. The climb takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, with brief pauses for photos and videos captured by the guides. For those who prefer to stay dry or find the rocky, uneven terrain challenging, there are stairs alongside the falls.
