Several small lagoons are nestled among the vertical sections of the falls.

The falls cascade into the Caribbean Sea at the western edge of a stunning white-sand beach. Climbing the waterfalls is a favored tourist activity, often undertaken with the assistance of park tour guides. The climb typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, including short breaks for photos and videos captured by the guides. For those who prefer to stay dry or find the rocky, uneven terrain challenging, there are stairs alongside the falls.
