Very good tour - We were able to see koalas, kangaroos, penguins and wallabies. The tour guide was superb giving us details about history and specifics about each animal and their environment.

Nighttime fun with animals! - Had to wait until I got home so I could sort out my pictures, but I truly enjoyed this great experience - we saw kangaroos, wallabies (with babies in their pouches), koalas, fairy penguins. So much fun seeing the animals running around out in the open and not in a zoo. The tour guide was great too - he knew exactly where to go and added a lot of interesting background. Really recommend this excursion!

Koalas, Kangaroos & Penguins—Unforgettable! - What an incredible experience! Colin was a fantastic guide who knew exactly where to look for Australia’s most iconic wildlife. We spotted koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, bushy-tailed possums, and even the adorable fairy penguins. The best part was watching the nocturnal animals come alive—Colin clearly has a knack for finding them. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the real Australia after dark!

Amazing! - Colin”s love of the Island is evident in how he showed its non-human residents. He went above and beyond and showed us all the animals - even the penguins! Take this tour, you won’t be disappointed!!

Essential - If, like us, you are visiting Kangaroo Island at least in part to see wildlife, consider this tour required: many species are nocturnal, and with many dirt roads and dark driving, you’ll want a guide who knows where to look. Also: private groups get to see more.
Colin promised us a chance to see kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and penguins and, amazingly, delivered on all. He was a highly genial host and quite knowledgeable about the nonhuman residents. A marvelous evening out!

The tour just ended, and... - The tour just ended, and honestly, it was the best experience I’ve had on Kangaroo Island! I’m incredibly grateful for all the new information I learned—it was my first time hearing so many fascinating facts about animals. We saw tiny penguins, both small and large kangaroos and even managed to spot a few koalas in the trees. I’m still overwhelmed with emotions after this adventure!
As an animal lover, this tour was everything I could have hoped for and even more. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the price, I have the answer for you. The night “safari” on Kangaroo Island is an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime. This isn’t just a regular visit to a zoo—it’s a real journey in search of wildlife!
