Interesting tour with a real life Knight! - Interesting tour with tales bringing the history of Kilkenny to life. We really enjoyed Dylan’s local knowledge and his obvious interest in medieval history. Visiting the tower is a great insight in to the past and we peppered Dylan with lots of questions about his armour and his interests in it. Boys enjoyed trying on some of the armour. Really enjoyable!

Kilkenny by Knight! Exclusive Educational Tour - As we walked the historic walled streets of Kilkenny w/a knight leading us on an educational tour, we gathered a lot of fun attention. The tour brought us to an exclusive wall lookout building. When the knight opened the lock and we gathered inside the nerdy school child came back to life. Inside he explained knight armor, training, history, and best of all we got to try on some of the armor. We got amazing pictures. This is a must tour from a Kilkenny local.

Great tour - To quote my " it was an awesome tour and the swords were really cool"
Dylan was a fantastic guide and gave us an amazing tour of medieval Kilkenny.
As it was just the two of us, it was very personal. And Dykan was only stopped once for pictures.
Would definitely recommend for families.

Travel back in time - “I REALLY liked the tour with the knight.” That was a quote from my 8 year-old daughter after our trip. And I agree. I can’t imagine a better way to tour Kilkenny. This was like traveling back in time. Dylan is a perfect tour guide — funny, informative, entertaining, friendly. He truly brought the past back to life. We learned a ton, laughed a lot, and even got to try on armor and hold swords. Great for families. Highly recommend.

Nice tour - We happened to be the only 2 on the tour (mid 40`s) Dylan was a lovely guy, knew the history very well. He must have been boiling in his armour, it was 28 degrees the day we went. Great tour for families, laid back and informative not too much walking. Would highly recommend.

Touring the hidden gems of Kilkenny… with your very own knight in shining armour! - I love Kilkenny and the walking tour with Dylan, the knight, made it come to life as the medieval city that it is!! He was entertaining and knowledgeable and such a pleasure to spend time with. Another very special thing about this tour is that it avoids some of the more ‘touristy’ spots and instead takes you into little known gems that no other tour does. The Talbot Tower was probably my favourite stop on the tour, and I don’t think you’ll find that on any other tour in Kilkenny… even the locals don’t know about it! Thank you Sir Dylan for an unforgettable experience!!

Passionate about Kilkenny Hustory - Dillion is amazing. He walks about town in his Knights amour discussing the history of the “city”. He has a lot of interesting stories to tell. Really enjoyed the knights amour explanation in the Talbot Tower. Definitely recommend this tour for families with boys. interesting and a quick and easy walk since Dillion is in amour
