Pick Up - Transfer to Akagera National Park

Kigali - A professional guide will pick you up at 8am from your hotel or residence to take you to Akagera. After completing park registration, enjoy a brief game drive followed by a sunset boat cruise at 4:00pm on Lake Ihema, where you can spot water animals like Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of bird species.

Full Day Game Drive & End of the Trip

Akagera National Park - Begin your day at 6:30am with a packed lunch for a full day game drive, seeking out early risers such as zebras, impalas, hippos, and giraffes, among others you may have missed the previous day. The drive will cover the park from south to north, with drop-off at a location of your choice at the conclusion of the trip.

During this two-day safari, participants will marvel at the stunning landscapes and encounter majestic wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, and elephants, along with a variety of bird species and antelopes.

The journey begins with a pick-up from any location in Kigali, followed by a drive to Akagera National Park, situated in the eastern region of the country near the Tanzanian border.

Upon arrival, guests will check in for lunch at their hotel before embarking on a wildlife exploration and enjoying an evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema.

The day concludes with a short evening game drive en route to the lodge.
